I like that my feet don't slip on the mat when I am exercising.

Just leave it outside to off gas for a few hours after you open it!

It's fine over carpet or gym pads, but it slides sometimes. If you have cats, the material is too flimsy if they scratch.

Good item and the black holder is great as its stretchy instead of using velcro it's just easier

I got a yoga mat because stretching and doing mobility work on my hardwood floor was painful on my joints (in some positions). This added minimal cushioning which was extremely disappointing. The texture is weird too, it feels like there is some petroleum slathered on it right out of the package (it also smells strongly of rubber chemicals as well which is also a minus). The strap is cool though.
