The Vortx

Sent this Vortx bank along with a lot of coins to a 7-year-old and boy, did he love it! I've received a number of videos of him having a great time. It's such a good way to start a conversation about the science behind the Vortx as well as a good start to saving $$$.

This was a gift for my 5 year old grandson. He loves it, it's entertaining and frees up a little time for mom when he's entertaining himself. Plus he gets to save his coins. It's sturdy plastic and doesn't take up a lot of space.

I use it with my kids at church. They switch out dollars for coins and are mesmerized by the vortex. Sturdy and fits great on a water jug if you have an extra one sitting around. I used printed duct tape to secure since several kids would be using it.

The coin vortex is a good novelty for my children, my 7 years old daughter enjoys sliding coins in, and watching them spiral down the cone, but my 5 years old son enjoys watching them crash into one another. The cone would be better if it was a few inches wider, and deeper. Other than that my children is having fun saving money.To help with the savings, I adjusted the vortex by removing the base, taking a 5 gallon water jug and spray painting the inside black so no one can see inside especially my children, so they won’t get tempted to emptying the jug to slide the coins again. Then I attached the vortex to the top of the water jug and glued it together. Now it stands about 32 inches from the floor with about 16 inches high X 10 inches wide collection compared to 15 inches from the floor with a small collection base of about 1¼ inches high about 6½ inches wide.I would recommend this vortex to other parents for their children to enjoy.

So fun! Just like the big one but table top sized! As long as you put it together per the instructions, it’s very sturdy. I’ve got a kid with an autism diagnosis and he’s always been drawn to these at the museum and similar places. I’ve wanted to get him one for a long time and decided this was an affordable option to try. I’m glad we did, we really enjoy it. Shipping was super fast too.

The vortex is just the right size for what I need as a Fundraiser! Very pleased!

A tad expensive for a product that doesn’t stay together very well! It needs superglued!
