Great unit and super simple installation! Provides gps coordinates right out of the box with no additional wiring.

It's a great little radio for the money, also had a $50 dollar rebate, which was an actual check, which was nice.I haven't transmitted with it yet so can't really comment on that. I have this mounted in the console of my pontoon boat, the built in gps antenna works well in that location. The only complaints I have would be the speaker isn't the greatest, it's a bit tinny sounding. Also, the display is dimmable for night use, but the green "receive" light is very bright and can't be dimmed as far as I can tell, and is distracting at night.The review wants me to rate "sheerness", I don't know what that's supposed to mean as far as vhf radios are conserned, so I didn't rate that.

This replaced an older Standard Horizon and was surprised at how much smaller it is. The built-in GPS has no signal issued under the hardtop of my boat. The speaker is very tinny sounding so I just purchased an external speaker. Good little unit, I would buy again.

Very ergonomic and easy to use design, small format simplifies installation. Easy to read display makes it use to see what option and channel is in use.

My husband is building his boat and this was one of the accessories he needed. He had hoped it would be a little bigger. Mostly he was disappointed that he couldn't unattach the hand held speaker. It would have been nice to have been able to unattach then reattach as was needed. Will come back and repost when we have a picture.
