Harris Benzoyl Peroxide Wash 5% Bottle, 5 Ounce

I use this once a day in the morning per my dermatologist’s recommendation and use a mild cleanser at night. It’s potent so I’d be careful not to overuse especially during the drier months. I’m 35 with combo skin but was dealing with some Sebum buildup on my cheeks. This helps keep my skin clear (along with prescribed Tretinoin and Azelaic acid).

After years of finally having clear skin post high school, my face broke out bad in October. I didn’t know the cause & figured it would eventually clear up. It didn’t. I’m a person of color & was told Urban skin rx was good for melanated skin. I purchased their cleansing bar and continued to get painful breakouts between November & December. I tried clean & clear’s facial moisturizer & persa gel & still was breaking out. I tried panoxyl hoping that would work & nothing! Painful deep pimples continued to form underneath and above my skin’s surface. Finally in January 2021, I decided to give another product a shot, Harris benzoyl peroxide wash. In just ONE WEEK, I started noticing results. By WEEK TWO, my skin was completely cleared of acne with an occasional pimple here & there, however it would be gone the next day. By WEEK THREE, even my scarring from the acne started fading. I started off using this product twice daily & went down to just once daily after the first week. Since this product has benzoyl peroxide, it is drying , so after washing my face, I apply natural shea butter, which also helps with brightening the skin. Very pleased with this product.- it’s not a thick or thin consistency, it’s just right & it doesn’t really lather.

The product is thick enough that once the bottle is half empty, the bottle has to sit upside down to dispense. The old cap was flat so the bottle would stand upside down, the new cap is not.Be sure to reuse your old cap.

When my skin starts breaking out, I exfoliate then I put this on the affected area to sit for 5 minutes in the shower. Then I wash with soap.There is little to no scent too.This has helped clear my skin everytime!

I loved this facial wash. I have struggled with acne and the occasional hormonal acne for years. I've tried many products that have left my skin dry, irritated and red. This Benzoyl worked wonders for my sensitive skin!! I've used it for over a week with a salicylic exfoliate scrub and Cerave moisturizer and it cleared up my worst spots! Smells clean and freshing and a small dollop of product works great! Will definitely keep this little guy in my arsenal for perfect skin 🥰

This product was recommended by my dermatologist to get rid of my acne. I was looking for a pic of when it was really bad but I couldn't find it lol. I had huge, inflamed acne that looked like big bumps and they would never go away. This product is really good for drying them out and shrinking them. I have oily skin but I needed a moisturizer with this product. I used this for three months and it was almost summer. It was already getting hot yet you can see my skin on my face flaking because of how dry it can make your skin. I used this coupled with what my dermatologist prescribed as topical medication. Each situation is unique though. You might want to consult your dermatologist first if your acne are really stubborn and hard to get rid of.
