There is no substitute for the original. Tried the Generics and off brands but came back to the real deal. Good price and great product.

I use these caps for regularity. They work as long as I stick to the “serving size” on the bottle. They aren’t very easy to find locally in my area. The best you can find are generic or house brand.Watch out for those! They’re psyllium just like Metamucil, but they don’t really work. It’s kind of like the way house brand peanuts don’t taste as good as Planters. That’s why I came here for them.Another customer was concerned about the expense of taking Metamucil four times daily. That also takes getting up in the middle of the night. Not to worry—I take five caps at breakfast, lunch and dinner and I’m in like Flynn.
