they wrok as intended to hold my Yak down..

These straps are to replace a set which wore out. The protective cover is good for preventing damage to the kayak and the car. The straps were long enough to allow me to attach the boat to the car and securely fasten the remainder in case the retaining spring clip ever slips.

Aside from these straps being awesome, customer service is top notch! I had a slight issue with my order. They took action very quickly and corrected the problem. I'll be a returning customer!

These straps are great. I did have to cut them a bit shorter; but other wise am very happy with them.

Great straps for roof rack kayaks

Will definitely be purchasing more to make sure I have backups in case of emegency.Way nicer to tie down kayaks versus using ratchet straps!Best of all, as it is a two pack, it is better value than purchasing from a well known Canadian auto parts surplus place (ie. Princ*** A***)--with added benefit of having a backing to protect the kayak!

I really like the way the cover protects the metal buckles - which means you can easily throw the buckle end over the top of a vehicle without worrying about chipping or scratching paint. Good price, good quality.

Great length, strong cams, awkward padding. I wish the cams were centered on the padding.
