Small, but knew it would be. For those complaining about the price, it's straw. It's expensive. Buy this in my local town and it would be $10-15 probably for straw. That and shipping this is a good deal to me.Maybe they are thinking of hay .....hay is cheaper but mixed with grass and weeds.

This is the perfect small size, great price and excellent type of straw for my feral cats' shelter! I have a large woodern house (considered a 'small' dog house) on my front porch for the feral cats and was gratified this one bale was enough for this house. I always sprinkle a little cat nip over the straw, and sure enough, someone was sleeping in the house last night! This is 'real' straw, not that fine stuff that some sellers pass off as straw.

Worked great in a Styrofoam cooler we used for a stray cat! Provided extra warmth. Definitely open outside lol

Perfect size for western themed event. Liked the real hay and it looked great for my display.

We were doing a western themed party, and these little haystacks just said the same so nicely. However, they are a huge mess! Kind of fell apart as we were pulling them out of the box. They worked for the evening and then went straight in the trash because they were so messy. Not even worth saving.

This was perfect for a little cage for my wild cat to have a place to go.

I bought this to use as bedding for a stray cat. When the bale is pulled apart it is a large amount of straw-enough to fill both of her houses. Straw is the bedding recommended by Community Cats as it does not retain moisture and does not mildew unlike hay which is all I could find locally. It has kept the little cat warm and dry through some very harsh weather.

Decorative bale of real hay was just perfect for our old red wagon, currently full of pumpkins,gourds, fall leaves and now hay. It fit our need perfectly. Comes wrapped in cellophane.
