Disappointing . . . not at all helpful.
What a disappointment. Book is unorganized and poorly written. Fluff and jargon, lacking in plainspoken, sound advice. (Example: chapter on finances and forecasting a budget is the last in the book. I would think something as vital to medical practice success would have been featured earlier. That particular chapter is only six pages long--1 1/2 of which contains text only marginally related to forecasting a budget, and the remaining pages are devoted to simplistic, unhelpful checklists). Overpromises, and then underdelivers--spectacularly. I should have checked Ms. Todd's website and YouTube clips prior to completing the order--they are as unimpressive and lacking in substance as her book. Had high hopes when I initially ordered the book, but will be returning the order and would not recommend purchase.

Not what you expect
Reads like a self-advertisement book of a consultant services . Has some good part with useful information , but majority of topic are covered superficially enough to keep you with some questions. Financial planning , market assessment and related questions are covered extremely superficially and almost useless . Overall good for somebody who wants general information of transition to concierge medicine practice.

Excellent strategic planning book for the cash pay patient market
This book is a great resource for those who want to not only make a transition into the cash pay patient market, but also for those who already focus on this market and want to solidify, reinforce their purpose. This book gives you all the market-oriented economy tools and complete information you need, which the focus is on identifying the cash pay patient needs or wants and meeting them.I also used these great book for my Master of Pubic Health thesis through which I was able to identity key factors that contribute to a solid healthcare business in cash. The author is very hands-on and academic, with profound experience in the cash pay patient market world-wide, and know what it takes to satisfy a patient while paying attention to consumer service details and complying with healthcare policies.Excellent strategic planning book!
