Wolves, witches and images on my
This story starts with the Beta of the clan, Nick. He has liked and wanted the Alpha Grant's Human Liaison rep Cady for over 10 years. In this story we find out that Cady has a secret. When her mother Victoria shows up after many years gone after she left her father and her when she was young. Her mother is a witch. Come to find out later in the book she is a dark witch. Which means evil. Cady has no powers of her own , but a mage wants to use her bloodline. In the meantime Nick has to take Cady to a party that honors Cady and Grant for the donations they have made. This happens during the Blood Moon. The wolf shifters are not able to control themselves or their wolf during this time. Due to a freak snowstorm they are not able to leave the hotel to get home or to a safe house. This is ok for Cady as she's human, but not for Nick who is the shifter. The only way to stop Nick from shifting is thru sex. So Cady gives up her virginity to Nick for the safety of all. This is such good series with the introduction of the witches and the True Mates. Now on to the next book.

Good Sequel
I enjoyed this story better than the first. The editing errors from the first book were not as prevalent so my enjoyment level was not dampened. The writing flowed well and the storytelling flowed nicely. The world building was well-established in the first book so the actual story was able to take center stage in book 2.I really liked Cady and Nick as individuals and as a couple. Both tended to be very orderly and buttoned up so when they opened up to each other it was fun to read. Admittedly couple of moments, I wanted to smack both of them. Cady for not simply telling Nick her secret and Nick for being such a butthead when he discovered it. Granted, it was a big secret considering his history.I really enjoyed the secondary characters in this story such as Callista (Grant's mother), Vivianne (Cady's aunt), and Estella were all a hoot. I found Vasili, Nick's grandfather, such a sad person. He had lost so much. Granted he has his moments of stupidity, but overall I found him likeable.Writing quality: Okay-to-GoodViolence: SomeSexual content: SomeNarration: Third personPlot: A couple of twistsMood: Light-hearted & SuspensefulPace: FastCharacter development: Semi-developed

Explosive, Hot Read!!!
***I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***Another excellent book in the True Mates Series. This book has it all lycans, witches, evil mages, steamy relations, violence, intrigue, and danger. I really enjoyed this book as it keeps you engaged and wondering what's going to happen next.Nick Vrost the New York Alpha's Beta is to most an intimidating, scary guy with his sheer size, muscles, and killer looks as well as being a lycan. Cady Gray is a beautiful, efficient, human dynamo for whom no job is to big or to small. She is the Human Relations person for Fenrir Corp. a major "lycan" company. She is also an indispensable part of Grant Anderson's inside team. Though she is human she has devoted her life to work with the lycans and their society. There are undeniable deep feelings between Nick and Cady just waiting to explode and catch fire. There are plenty of steamy, hot moments as well as suspenseful ones in the book. The lycan community faces an evil and dangerous enemy. It will keep you entertained and make it hard to put the book down. Each book in this series has been a great read and I'll be finishing the series and keeping up with other work by Ms. Montgomery as well.

Needs editing
Although the story was good, the writing, or at least the editing, was terrible. Extraneous words, wrong words and poor sentence structure combined to make it a difficult read. Several times there were two words in a sentence as if the author thought she'd make a decision later about which one to use and then never made the choice. My biggest problem, however, was her constantly referring to the h as "the redhead". Once or twice was forgivable but, by about the 30th time, I was ready to pull my own hair out. If I was someone who could actually not finish a book, that would have done it for me. If there are only two characters in a scene, a male and a female, it is perfectly safe to say "he" and "she" and trust the reader will know who you mean.I did plod on through all "the redhead"s to the end, but it was a struggle. If the author would do a thorough edit, this would be a good read but, as it stands, I couldn't recommend it.

Good things come to those who wait
I adored this couple! They were so sweet and so much misunderstanding kept them apart over the years. The author really drew me into their love story from the first awkward interactions to the steamy heat when it seemed they finally had found their moment. I enjoyed each twist in this tale, especially the ultimate betrayal that almost separated them for good. I don’t know who the author will bless with a mate next, but I can’t wait to find out.

Hot
Another book I could not put down! Nick and Caddy's live story was a long one in the making. Nick has wanted Caddy since he laid eyes on her 10 years ago, Caddy wasn't as quick since she was human. When they finally touched while dancing at Alynna and Alex's wedding, their bond formed. When they were stuck in a hotel during a freak snowstorm during the Blood Moon, Caddy gave into her sexual pull to Nick to keep him from shifting. Nick didn't want to do it that way, but he couldn't stop himself. Unbeknownst to them another True Mate bond was formed. Caddy is framed for some attacks against Lycans, then kidnapped by her mother, a witch. When the team realizes she was framed and kidnapped, they find her and go to rescue her, alongside their new allies, witches.

Good read
An enjoyable read about a wolf and a witch's child overcoming prejudice and barriers to embrace their True Mate status and come together. A celebration of love conquering all.

Proof reader
Thats what Alicia Montgomery needs a proof reader cause the spelling mistakes are really annoying. The story's great it would of been 4 stars if it wasn't for the mistakes
