My husband loved the style and length of these swim trunks however just to tight to be comfortable. He falls into the Large size according to the recommendation. However they are to snug to be comfortable to lounge around pool in or swim. Recommend sizing up one if your in middle to end range. We will return and get XL.

I like the stiffness of the material of this trunk, it's much better than the softer material on trunks from Speedo and Quicksilver (the softer material of those brands are VERY unforgiving if you're not a 32" waist). The stiffer material just seems more structured and is more flattering on the body (for the record, I'm a 36"/37" waist and I ordered the XL and they fit perfect). The large would have been too small for sure. These trunks are durable and fit is pretty much spot on. For under $30 I'd say the quality, fit and style are amazing. One small thing, the cobalt color is much brighter than pictured.Thing I like the best is the leg length. They aren't as long as the current trend of hitting the knee length, but they aren't so short that you feel exposed. I'd say they're about an inch to inch and a half shorter than the current board short trend, but don't feel too short at all. Total plus for these. As said, they feel like they are well made and I like the stiffness of the material themselves.Here's my gripe: I do not like the white contrast stitching. It actually makes one look really droopy in the bum area and it makes the crotch area look slightly odd. The bum area especially just doesn't look right with the contrast white stitching. I know, they're swim trunks, you're swimming, who cares right? Me, I care. I wear them at the beach and you want to be as flattering as possible. That's my only gripe though and I ended up also buying the Nautica Anchor Solid Stripe Swim Trunk which gets it just about perfect.

I bought for a snorkeling vacation and i couldn't be happier. I was swimming 3 times a day and they were a great fit - great under water and dried quickly in the sun. I would buy again.

I got a similar Speedo at the same time, think I might like this one better. Held up well to daily snorkeling in the Caribbean.

I bought these for an upcoming vacation and they really fit the bill. Very versatile. Although they are excellent swimming trunks, they also are great for lounging around the pool or even to wear with a polo shirt to casual shops and sidewalk cafes. The material dries quickly and is the right weight - not heavy, but not lightweight either. The material is kinda stiff, which accounts for their versatility. The size was perfect. I have a 35" waist and got a large and there is plenty of room, but not too loose when you use the cool tie string. I like the length also. I have a 32" inseam, and these hit about 2" above the knee. I think they can be worn by any age person, but they are definitely NOT preppy. I highly recommend.

These are exactly the swim trunks I was looking for. They fit great, look great, and seem well made. Going to order a second pair right now. I have a 31 waist, and the small fits well. The fabric has no stretch to it, so I wouldn't want to do anything too active in these, but I like that they are not baggy either.

I wish I found these a year ago... I'd gone through quite a number of swim shorts for my son and these were the best by far. Stitching really good, cloth feels good and colors vibrant, and most importantly fits my tall son very well.
