a little thinner than other tahinis, looks darker brown as well, so it is probably whole sesame that is used.  I can definitely taste salt, which is not listed in the ingredients.  Might be ok for use in hummus or baba ghanoush, but as a spread for bread, I find it too salty

I bought my jar in the supermarket in July, 2016. It was manufactured in April, 2016, with an expiration date of April, 2018. The label on the jar says, "Product of Turkey." Distributed by TURKANA FOOD INC., with a Northern New Jersey area code. The UPC reads 854643003054.This is unlike any tahini I've ever bought. Although labeled "Sesame Paste Tahini," there is no paste. The entire jar has the consistency of olive oil. The contents are almost flavorless, with just a hint of sesame seeds.
