Got this is 2014. I'm still using this with my 2013 MacBook Pro Retina and I'm very pleased with it. Great quality product! The fit is perfect. Love the soft inside fuzzy inside surface. It wears great! Good quality materials and craftsmanship in this product. Protection is moderate with dense, medium thickness foam on the big top and bottom surfaces. Less protection on all four edges (no foam). The dense, sturdy, black cordura-type material on the exterior is remarkably durable and does not show wear at all. I'm a photographer and this has been used regularly all over Los Angeles, and much of California, and to Europe, in and out of my f-stop camera packs probably 1000 times, and still looks like I've had it only a week. It loads into my camera pack vertically so I've sewn on a pull tab at one end to get it out more easily. On the inside, the beefy, good-quality seam-edging is well done so it provides slight padding and decent isolation from the zipper when the laptop is zipped up tight. [As a designer, I'm someone who modifies my gear to perform better for me. Soon after I got the sleeve, I stitched together the seam-edging on the hinge edge and added a strip of gorilla tape to be certain it provided okay protection and my computer did not slip between the seam-edging. Since I need only one short edge in which to insert my computer, I recently did a similar sealing of the bottom short edge and the other long edge, again, to insure isolation from the zipper, no matter what. Can't unzip it now, except for short top edge, but that's okay. When computer is in an fstop camera pack sitting on the ground, the most vulnerable places for damage are the lower corners. It's not a big risk factor, but for extra protection to the bottom, I added a strip of 1/16" thick dense foam along the inside of the bottom short edge of the Runetz sleeve. The foam runs across the bottom and up each long side about 4". The foam is glued in place with E6000. The seam-edging and zipper are glued in a closed position. I bolstered each of the bottom corners with an additional 4" strip of the same 1/16" foam. The computer is a tad tighter fit now in the sleeve, but there is no additional stress on the zipper.] I'm still loving this Runetz sleeve in the middle of 2017... even better since I modified it. I wish Runetz made one just like this one (or the magnetic hard cover) with only an opening along one short edge so the bump protection could be maximized on the other three edges with no threat of zipper smashing into computer edge. That'd be perfect for me... and others who slip their computer vertically into a backpack rather than a briefcase. As it is, this is a GREAT sleeve and a tremendous value. Highly recommended by me.

I have a 2015 Macbook Pro 13.3 Inch retina display and I wanted a case for it. Having owned many laptops before I am used to the regular black neoprene types and wanted something different. I ended up choosing this and I'm glad I did. I purchased this a year ago and these are my thoughts...Pros- I really like the color (gray) which has the appearance, at least to me, of "matching" or being made for my Macbook.- The material on the inside is very soft and has kept my Macbook scratch free while inside the sleeve. I also like the inside color which is a lighter gray than the outside and provides a nice contrast.- The zipper goes almost all the way around the whole sleeve which means you can open it like a book. I usually unzip one end and slide my Macbook in or out, but it's still a nice feature to have. Other sleeves I have owned only unzip from the top or the side.- Fits my Macbook perfectly but would work for any laptop that fits inside. Sometimes I take my 11 inch acer chromebook to work and opt for this sleeve as opposed to the caselogic sleeve that I bought specifically for the chromebook, even though there is some "wiggle room" with my chromebook inside the Runetz sleeve I just like it alot more.Cons- This is not a heavy duty sleeve and may not provide full protection against a drop. While the padding is enough for me because whenever I take my Macbook out of the house its usually in my backpack ,it might be something you want to consider.So my conclusion is that while the padding isn't going to protect a laptop from a fall out a window or a bowling ball being dropped on it, there is more or less no difference between this sleeve and other sleeves I have owned in terms of padding. I like the color and the design/functionality of this sleeve is great. When I have to shop for laptop sleeve again Ruentz will be the brand I choose (most likely).

I have returned two other cases that said they fit the 15.4" Macbook, but didn't. This one does fit.Nicely padded and soft the on inside.Very soft, yet sturdy on the exterior.Does not look cheap at all. I will be very proud to carry this..Nice zippers and tagsI do not think you will find a case sleeve this nice anywhere for even double this price.Cons:Is a snug fit (only with my Speck hardshell case on it.)Please note, it does fit, but quite snug and over time may pull seams with a hard shell case in the sleeve. For the price, this isn't an issue for me. If the seams eventually pull, I can buy a new one.The teal is a soft teal, a bit more "robin's egg" blue. Very pretty though.

The 15.4 sleeve fits my HP Chromebook 14 very well. There's a little room lengthwise obviously, but it zips easily and is still snug enough that it doesn't slide around. The padding is kind of squishy and the inside lining is incredibly soft (seriously, I need a blanket made of that stuff) so it provides adequate basic protection.The case is cute, though the colors aren't quite what I expected. The pic on both my computer and phone looked like it was dark and light gray, but what looked like light gray is actually cream/off white.Some of the reviews mentioned the case got dirty easily. I just got it so I can't attest to that, but the fabric does seems like if it got dirty, it would be close to impossible to clean very well. This appears to be a good case for around the house and for protecting the laptop in a larger bag. I wouldn't carry it by itself out and about.This came sealed in a bag, but when I removed the sticker, there was a snag. It's not worth the trouble of returning, so hopefully, it won't get worse.Overall, I'm happy with it so far. It's cute, looks good with my laptop, and it suits my purposes. I'll update if it's terrible after using for a while.

Looks good but takes some effort to fully zip around my 13" Mac Pro.

Absolutely phenomenal, the inside is this really nice "fur" type of thing, very soft. The outside is a very sturdy-feeling material. It is just a tad big for my 2015 Macbook Pro, but not so much that it makes any real difference. 10/10 Would recommend!

It fits like a glove on my Mac Air MJVG2HN/A 13-inch Laptop. It provides protection and makes it hassle free to carry it around.
