I'm not hardcore into music games, but this one came with a pretty decent list of songs, classic mixed with more current stuff is what sold it to me. I know they're covers, but most of them aren't bad. The character models can get boring but then again, I never look at them on any music game, I look at the fret board! As you should lol. Overall, I played through this game, I did take some breaks, i think the career does get a bit stale after a while, if you're trying to get all platnum like I did anyways. But overall I've played it online and played the career, it's fair. It's not a bad game like people say it is. It's worth picking up for 4 to 5 bucks new on amazon and playing around for fun and gamerscore. it won't hurt you. It works in a similar yet different way than GH or RB. I only took a star off because it came 2 days later than I was told.
