KOHLER1266856-CP 38m Push Button Actuator Kit Genuine Part, Polished Chrome

Installed this on a Saile. The original had a flat flush top and flimsy cut to length straws. Both one of the buttons and one of the straws failed on the original. This newer design incorporates a much more robust button movement, heavy duty adjustable rods in place of the straws, and a lower bracket to further support the rods. It also has some nice rubber ends where the rods contact the flush valve. The raised button design is slightly different than the original but works fine with the Saile. My only complaint is that unlike the original they do not chrome the inside of the buttons, so while depressed you see white plastic. A unfortunate cost-saving move, but given how much more robust this button is over the original, and the surprisingly low price point, it still gets 5 stars.

If you are good at pushing buttons you will love this sleek toilet flush button. Very pretty finish and everyone loves it. Installation was easy and only took a couple of minutes.

These are quality items but they were too large for my Kohler dual flush. Before you order make sure you have the correct size.

It’s ideal

This is a great replacement for broken flush buttons. Read the directions carefully but you may need to adjust the measurements depending on your toilet. After making adaptions, it is working great.

While the design is different than the original, I like it. Now both sides work again.

Much sturdier than the original. The rounded top is not as attractive as the original flat one. But it works.

Good, fit it great

The product was very easy to install. Cutting the long piece was tougher but with clippers it wasn’t too difficult. The flushing mechanism is sturdy and very high quality. It’s mich better than the old mechanism that came with my toilet. I’ll buy this again for my other toilet when that flusher breaks.

I've used this as well as the cheaper clones available for our Crystal Bay toilets. This has nicer buttons that are contoured, is made of a higher quality plastic, but most importantly has full length rods with rubber feet that you can shorten to the perfect length.This all adds up to a button that has nice travel and bounce back, and has a good premium look. I think it's worth the extra money.The clones all seem to come with rods that are too short. You can get around this by reusing your existing rods, but mine were a millimeter thinner than the base, so they were a little wobbly. (this also can be fixed with duct tape, but at this point why not spend a little more to get a higher quality part.)

Made the mistake of ordering some of the less expensive ‘set of three’ for this replacement part. This quality is very much worth the extra cost.
