Mor/Ryde International Inc. STP54-012H Quick Connect Step 4 Step

I was first looking to use the Over the Top model but the threshold and all did meet specs. Spoke with this lady at MorRyde directly and she was extremely knowledgeable and offered me a solution. The MorRyde detachable steps. Other than the stability and ease of install (15 minutes, because I get OCD like when drilling holes like this) I now have the option to use the steps or the horrible stock steps when stopping on the road somewhere, something that is not an option with the units that stow in the doorway.Can’t wait to hit the road with these new steps. Working in and outside of the rig has so far proven their worth to me.

Much better steps for people and dogs. Easy to install and with the hand rail safer.

I attached this to my 5th wheel since the foldaway versions were much more difficult to install. Those would have required cutting the bottom of my door. They also tended to drop dirt into the camper.Very secure when installed! My wife and I feel much safer now entering and exiting the 5th wheel.The only downside is having to hand lift the steps into the camper when we want to be on the go. But even at 66 years old I can still do that.

I used this 4 step for my 11.5 foot cab-over pickup camper. My wife was having a hard time getting in or out and these solved the problem. There is an access door under and to the right of the entrance so I had to McGuyver a bar to attach it to. The optional hand rail is designed to be mounted on the left side of the steps for a right hand door opening. Had to fashion a work around for this also. No help from Mor Ryde on either modification. Everything works perfect now. Steps mount on roof ladder while traveling.

We just traded up to a larger 5th wheel which sits much higher than the other. I'm over 70 and the stock fold out steps felt unstable, hard to navigate. While looking at RVs to buy many had these attached but the one we chose didn't. Told husband I felt the price was worth it for the ease and stability. We chose the detachable rather than the fold up because there was a set on Amazon at a reduced price. Installed easily. We just lay an old quilt inside the door, pick it up and slide it in. Love these steps.

We ordered and first one came quick. It was damaged inside box. Asked for a replacement...this order....sent quick which was nice but shipping box was barely holding together with missing install hardware and foot pads. The steps were also damaged at base of the stringer where foot pads would go. This made two damaged units. We will now be returning the original and purchasing else where. I can say these steps look sturdy and well made.

A breeze to install. A must for someone a little older. Very sturdy. Made a holder for it so that it doesn’t scratch bed of pickup. Will have this on any future rv

I installed this on my fifth wheel and they seemed fine. Took off on a trip and realized they were too tall for my rig in many locations. I had to return them. I immediately bought the 3 step version because they are a huge improvement over the bouncy fold out steps.
