ProSensor T13 13-Sensor Stud Finder Wall Scanner

Are you tired of stud finders that are not accurate, overly complicated, takes forever to calibrate, feels "laggy" when in actual use? Look no further - this does one job and does it well. Find the stud - it does that. The unit uses double A / AA batteries so we all have those on hand (not included). So once loaded.. just press the button and go... The stud is clearly marked where the red lights light up and easy for me to quickly draw a line across the length of whats lit up!. There is ZERO calibration time - press that button and stuff just happens! I've mounted about 11 things so part and had no "misses" to studs so far. Used over 4 other stud finders from Ryobi to the generic brands here on Amazon - all of them have a 2-3 second calibration time and I've had my fair share of "misses" eg where the stud was really so I get that double hole in the wall since I had to shimmy it a half inch over. Totally worth the investment and the plus side is I dont procrastinate on hanging projects as its quick and low friction to get the chore done!

When my husband decided to hang a TV in our kitchen, he used this sensor to find the right place to hang it. Stud-finding process was painless as possible. Right out of the box, what impressed us the most was the ProSensor's robust build , user-friendly and interface. The device's performance exceeded our expectations. Its wide coverage area, thanks to the 13 sensors, made locating studs quick and foolproof. The visual cues through LED lights were especially helpful, instantly showing the exact location of studs. This feature alone saved us from the trial and error that usually comes with wall mounting, allowing for a precise and secure installation of our kitchen TV.

This is the one Stud Finder that I have owned in the last two decades that reliably and consistently tells me where a stud is with no false readings. Before this I drilled so many test holes to find a stud that I became expert at patching them. Since owning this I haven't drilled even one. Now for the ONE downside. It requires a full charge in the battery to the point you can't use rechargeables and it will stop working when the batteries are still good for everything else. A pain but still worth it.

Easy to use, the multiple led display is very useful when scanning around to get a rough idea of what's going on underneath. Sure it costs more, but given it is manufactured in the USA and the useful interface, the cost makes sense. Of course, these are only my initial impressions. One minor thing that annoyed me is that this device must use alkaline batteries, and my stash of rechargeables don't power on were this stud finder.

I’ve been using a black+decker stud finder for about 8 years. It has always been terrible. If I had a dollar for every time it found a stud and then my screw/nail hit nothing but Sheetrock I could have retired at the age of 25 with a yacht and my own personal island. Enough about old junk, let’s talk about this thing. One word. Amazing. I was building shelves in my garage and this thing was right on the money every time. The multi sensors/lights make it fool proof. I should know… I’ve been called a fool multiple times. We will leave that for another day. The level was a nice touch too. I was able to attach a board leveled into multiple studs without doing the back and forth dance with a handful of tools to get it perfect. Other reviewers stated it was crap and couldn’t survive even a 2ft drop… they must have been doing 120mph down a highway and decided to see what would happen if dropped 2ft at that exact moment. Some people…. Smh … that’s all I can say…. I accidentally dropped this thing off an 8ft ladder. On its way down, it hit a solid oak work bench that was about 4 foot away , and then nailed a triple axle back spring quadruple summersault into a sweet 540 tail grab into a rail grind 5 ft away straight into the concrete slab. The sum bich still works. After the fall I put up another 8 shelves never missing a stud , and then hung 2 bikes off the wall with hooks… you guessed it… dead center of a stud. I can’t believe all the pain and suffering endured with a crappy, useless, insufferably inconsistent piece of shiza from black+decker for soooo many years. This thing is worth every penny. And no I did not get this product for free,. And yes it would have been stupid cool if I wouldn’t have had to pay for it to enjoy it and write this review. And yes I have insomnia and am currently unable to sleep so I’m hoping my honest review gives someone a smile and maybe convinces them that patching stupid holes in drywall for all the oops’s and gosh-darn-it’s is worse than the price on this thing. Save yourself some aggravation. Save yourself some pain. This thing might even save your marriage, who knows I’m no therapist.

Great tool maki’s finding studs so easy , this model offers very good guidance , there is also an upgrade version for detecting any electrical wires if any around stubs , for another level of safety .. for the price and accuracy, ease of use this is fantastic

On my recent DIY adventure installing a ceiling mounted TV lift, I needed an updated tool for my kit - the Franklin Sensors T13 Stud Finder. Having been involved in construction over the years, even contributing to building houses from scratch and remodeling dozens more, I developed a good feel for tools, and this stud finder impressed me. I've tried numerous stud finders before. They often demanded regular calibration, battery changes, and still were riddled with false positives and negatives. My house is less than 15 years old with standard wall composition, so naturally, these issues were frustrating. Any stud finder should have worked, but the 3 I had on hand did not work correctly regardless of what I tried. New batteries, recalibrating on every use, only using one hand etc all failed to give reliable results. The T13, however, brought a refreshing simplicity to the process. No calibration needed - place it on the wall and let it do its magic, as slow movements reveal precise stud locations via easy-to-read indicators. Clear, straightforward, and requiring no special techniques, it's a stark contrast to the overly complex or unreliable alternatives. What also struck me about this tool was its lightweight and durable design. I could see it remaining a crucial part of my kit for the foreseeable future. So, whether you're like me, a DIY enthusiast with a construction background, or just someone who knows one end of a hammer from the other, the Franklin Sensors T13 Stud Finder is a reliable and efficient solution. Say goodbye to your wall scanning woes.

Worth every penny! Amazing to use lights and to "see through" the wall. Super helpful finding studs, especially when multiple studs are stacked together behind the drywall. So much easier to use than the stud finders that beep. Super easy to use. Lightweight. Love love love. Can't recommend enough. Stop looking and click ADD TO CART NOW~

Funny that it lights up when I put it on my chest... Stud finder! Every time, and accurate

良品です。センサーは作動しています。

You won't regret it. Works well

By far the best stud finder I have ever used!!! Worth every penny.

Have used plenty of stud finders before and always had issues properly detecting studs. This is definitely a bit more than my previous ones but has been 100% worth it. Have used it a lot recently and hasn't faulted once. Highly recommended.
