Diono Everett NXT High Back Booster Car Seat with Rigid Latch, Lightweight Slim Fit Design, 8 Years 1 Booster Seat, Red

We’ve had this seat for about a year now. Bought it for our car while living abroad, and brought it back to the USA with us this summer.While the seat was fine going no more than 35mph and max of 30 minutes ride time in Japan, it’s not suitable for higher speeds and longer trips back in the US.The seat just overall feels “cheap”. The thing rattles constantly, and just doesn’t feel sturdy enough for high speeds. In addition, my childComplains that it hurts her back and bottom when she’s in it for more than a quick trip.Overall... if you live in the city and need a seat to toss in cab, or a quick school drop off it’s fine. However if you drive for any period of time, it’s worth upgrading.

Finally at the age of 6 I decided it was time to transition my only child out of her 5 point harness. Our old Recaro SHOULD have served this purpose as well; while it was amazing in the 5 point harness set up, it quickly turned in to a nightmare in the seat belt set up.The Diono is narrow enough at the base to make clipping in the seat belt a cinch, the headrest is easy to adjust. It didn't come with tethers but the seat holds on to the shoulder belt so that the seat stays in place when my daughter isn't in it.We took it on its maiden voyage today, 2 miles to school, and my daughter said she likes it. If anything changes, I'll update this review. As of now, I plan on purchasing a second seat.Diono, it you are reading this, could you offer some more feminine colors? Or may aqua?Update: hour in the car today and daughter was content. She is able To operate the seatbelt rather easily and clip herself in correctly. Just ordered two more!

Awesome car seat! So sturdy and comfortable! You take a gamble because you aren't there to see a display one, but this car seat is great. I felt a few the same price where the seat part isn't barely padded! No kid is gonna wanna sit in a car seat like that their butt will get sore from the hard plastic underneath. This carseat is very padded and comfortable for my son. Also, i like that the head rest adjusts securely. Its not flimsy and does weigh a good bit. My oldest sons booster is so clumsy compared to this seat I'm so mad i paid the same price and this seat is a thousand times better. Amazing for the price!

I have 2 maxi cosi rodifix boosters which I love. I was sad to see these were not made anymore and I wanted a lower profile, but full booster, that could fit in a 991.1 Porsche 911. This seat is excellent. Great support, and my kids actually like it better than the rodifix because it has little are rests. It can also convert into just a booster base as well.

I was on a search for a compact and easy to install booster for my toddler. Having a coupe, it was very important for me to be able to install and un-install the booster with ease having little to no room to maneuver in the back seat. THIS BOOSTER meets all my boxes. Light weight, easy to install, stylish, comfortable for my toddler, and sturdy.The easy latch system on this booster is hands down the best feature for the booster in my opinion. I can pop this seat in and out QUICK and easy with no guess work if it's in right or not!

After tons of research, we finally settled on the Diono Everett NXT for our 8yr old’s booster seat. We’ve had three Diono Radians, and have always been impressed with the quality and comfort of the car seats. However, when I unboxed the Everett, I was completely disappointed. While super easy to assemble and install, it is SERIOUSLY lacking in the comfort department. There is NO padding/foam under the fabric of the backrest, and minimal padding on the seat. We love to travel, and we just can’t see our daughter being comfortable in this seat for long drives. It’s definitely not what you’d expect from a $160 booster seat. Sorry, Diono. You really missed the mark on this one. I’ll be returning this product.

This is our second booster seat! Our 6 yo outgrew his Diono radian and we decided it was time to switch to a booster. We stuck with the Diono as his convertible service is well though the years. It’s A much larger so I don’t know do we would be able to get three across but he likes that this seat is wider and he has room. I like that the back comes off and can be used as a backless- we dida this when he had to fit into his friend’s car for a play date and it worked well! I like the latch system too since most boosters just sit on the seat. I have not heard of lack of cushioning as he’s quite the complainer. So we purchase this for his almost 5 year old sister who immediately wanted to A big kid seat for the car.

I love this seat. My 4 year old who is tall for his age would flip flop around in his other seat while sleeping. It looked unsafe and I couldn’t stand it.Bought this and his head stays in place and feels alot safer. He doesn’t complain his legs hurt either. Win- win.My only complaint is the odor coming out if the box. Left the seat outside to air out and is much better now
