Came in fast! Thanks Windbone for all of the goodies (stickers, beer koozie, extra kite, etc).... this kite is really fun... i was able to ride down wind on a skimboard in 10-12mph winds... yes this is a trainer kite but it still pulls you pretty good... a perfect kite for one who is looking to get into the sport of kiteboarding, or someone who wants to just fly it around, whether its at a beach, grassy field, or on a kayak or SUP!I'll be getting a 10/15m kite next!

I have flown the Hydra II 350 a few times, and it has quite a bit of power. I am 180 lbs and it can easily drag me. There was no setup required, so you can fly it right out of the box. it is a lot of fun. I would say you need at least 10mph of wind to fly it consistently though (7mph is in the documentation). It is easy to see why you need the 3rd line for deflating the kite, I would think it is very unsafe without it. I haven't quite mastered the water relaunch, as it seems to get water in the kite. I need a few more tries though.The smaller CX trainer is great for my 7 year old and others that you don't trust with the bigger kite. I don't know why they throw in the can coozy and the key ring.All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and I can't wait to use in conjunction with a snowboard or stand up paddle board.

I can believe I felt for this. It's totally worthless. The first time I try it I thought I was doing something wrong because I could not get it to fly right it felt very weird but when to the Dominican Republic I asked one the instructors to fly it and he didn't took him 5' to tell me that there was something wrong with this kite. Incredible I pay $350 for this piece of garbage.Don't buy it you will regret it.

Still having fun with this. It is NOT A TOY! Can be very dangerous and catch you off guard if not paying attention.It has ALOT of pull and is a full body workout in the right wind conditions.

Nice trainer kite, pulls hard when the wind pics up. You will need a harness and to add a loop to the handle or your training sessions will be exhausting and short. I use for snow kiting now, small enough that depower is not needed. In the end i wish i had just bought a used 5m 4 line depower kite/bar for the same money i would have been up and riding faster and sooner...

Great trainer for getting used to controlling a larger kite. When the wind is strong, you can get some good jumps on the beach!
