This classically styled soap dish would look well in any decor. I was very pleased at the solid weight as well. The white is a clear, bright white (not grayish or yellowish). The interior ridges are deep enough to keep your soap from sitting in liquid. Very nice product, and two for that price is a bargain.

This is one of the loveliest soap dishes I have ever had. It's oval shape and raised bottom create a very elegant look and fits very nicely beside my bathroom sink.

This is a great little soap dish. The high ridges allow the soap to dry between usages. The drain ring is deep enough to promote easy cleaning. I want to mention that this soap dish is not white. It has a blueish or Ice Blue tinge to the dish. I would have preferred a true "white" porcelain soap dish - but the blue tinge is OK.

Perfect basic with a classic design. Would fit the decor for a bathroom in a million dollar mansion, French Country designed cottage (like mine), a first apartment or a college dorm.

1 star because it looks exactly as advertised+1 star because it is otherwise well madeBut that's it because this does not do the job I needed, not even a tiny bit.I switched to bar soap and bar shampoo as part of my ongoing quest to reduce my disposable packaging waste. I ordered this set of items because I needed two, one for soap and one for shampoo.My shower has a bench ledge that, with the way the shower heads are pointed, one corner does not get any water on it. So I know that it is not backsplash from the act of showering. But each soap dish will contain the water running off from the soap, and the low profile of the inner ridges does not do anything at all in terms of lifting the soap above the runoff so it can dry. This left me with a bar of soap that was moist and squishy on one side and cracking on the other since it was not able to dry uniformly. It is also not hygenic.If you are using this for the purpose of handwashing soap where you will visit the dish several times a day and can empty the extra runoff out each time, maybe it will work. But I found this product useless as is.How I currently use it is, I have the upside down lid of my Lush bar soap (so a metal dome) in the dish with my soap resting on top of that. This isn't a sustainable practice as the bar of soap gets smaller.The product I found for my bar shampoo that has worked well is an item I purchased at Whole Foods of recycled rubber/plastic that looks like a small pressed mat of squiggles. It cost about $6 on its own but the minimal contact area lets my soap dry off.The best option I've found is simply leaving my soap on top of my scrubbing luffa which acted the same as the squiggle mat with even more rise above the surface of the shower bench, the downside of this that my luffa was now making contact with the shower bench.Other than that this product is an attractive little dish so as long as you're not using it for soap it may be useful for other tasks.
