JETech Screen Protector for iPad mini 1 2 3 (Not mini 4/5/6), Tempered Glass Film, 1-Pack

My husband needed a protector for his iPad mini. The one he had was too big and cracked on the edge. Found out his iPad was a mini 2 which has smaller screen. This one fits perfectly. He’s thrilled.

I can't comment on durability since i just got it, but it looks like a great product. Installation wasn't as easy as another brand that has a system that pretty much makes placement impossible to screw up tho. The "tape" hinge system used to hold it in place while you remove the inner protection layer came undone during that process, and once it does that ... well, you're kinda on your own getting it lined up.

My Ipad Mini screen was cracked in several places. Rather than pay to have a new screen or buy a new Ipad Mini, I bought this screen protector, hoping it would cover the cracks and have good touch control. It's like having a new Ipad Mini. I can still see the cracks under the protector, but hopefully this will give me several more years of use. Easy to install. Comes with clear (not a pun) directions.

I bought this to further protect my *already cracked* iPad mini screen. My mini has been to toddler war and has taken some permanent damage. So I bought this and I bought an impact-barrier case to keep it on. It was really easy to install and came with stuff to ensure the glass is as clean as possible including a little cloth and a dust catching "cling" (similar to a tiny window decal). It also comes with easily removable stickers that you can stick to it and hold on to to guide the tempered glass into place without getting your fingerprints or debri between the protector and your mini. When I say easily removable, I mean really easily removable. As in, I couldn't get them to stay affixed to the glass long enough to stick it onto my mini. So when the tempered glass began adhering to the device, there were air pockets. The instructions advise to gently press the screen to remove air pockets. When they say gently, be gentle folks. I started gentle and the air wasn't coming out, so I pressed a little firmer - still air pockets. Long story short, the tempered glass cracked before I got the last air pocket out of there. I'm only docking it one star because I can't tell you if it's the stickers' fault (the ones to help you guide the screen protector into place) for not holding onto the glass for me or if it's because my iPad is already messed up that I got the air pockets. I'm leaning toward it being the mini's fault. The crack is small so I left it on and put my mini in the case I got. It's been a few days, don't forget my mini is well-loved, and the tiny crack in the protector hasn't grown so I'm not dissatisfied. I recommend this product to help protect your mini screen.

**UPDATE**Having had these screen protectors on about 12 months now, one finally got smashed. The screen underneath was completely fine and fitting a new one on was amazingly easy, again. Honestly these are my go to ipad screen protectors. Just gutted they don't make for my Samsung products!This was the first time I tried a tempered glass screen protector, and I'm a total convert. I read reviews for other brands and decided these were the best. Honestly, so easy to apply, though I wouldn't recommend trying to apply them when kids and cats are around! You need to concentrate. However, even if they dont go on without air bubbles trapped, it is so easy to push them out with a little care. Clarity of the screen is much nicer than the regular plastic screen protectors, and from my experience, no loss of touch screen function or sensitivity. I have bought these for several iPads now and even recommended them. They come with clear instructions and reasonably priced. Very impressed with them and would definitely buy again.

This is a terrific product. The set contains everything you need to apply the glass.You get a screen wipe to clean off any residue from the previous glass shield.You are also given a polishing cloth and plenty of sticky tabs to help you align and flip over the cover.One tip I will say always apply your tempered covers in the bathroom. Run the shower for a few minutes and then go in and apply the shield. This will remove dust particles from the air and the whole process will be a lot easier. DO NOT ACTUALLY DO IT IN THE SHOWER the mist might land on the screen.If there are minute bubbles, don't worry these will disappear after a few days.

The quality is excellent and it s very easy for the application of the screen protector to my old iPad 2. The protection is much better than thee plastic film that I use before. It is hassle-free during the application as I have use the Zeiss lens cleaning paper to clean it first and then use its dust sticker to clean the screen. The result is so good and make the display image much brighter than before. However, I would suggest to use the application kit from the iPad mini 5 as the standard kit for all the protectors so that all the users can enjoy the fun during the application. I would recommend other users to buy it for their own use and I will also consider its product for the other phones in future if I need it.

Always by JETech protectors for our iphones/ipads. Great packaging and they seem to last ages. I know this as my teenage daughter throws her ipad/iphones around like they're a bouncy-ball and whilst the tempered glass does crack due to constant abuse, her screen is still in A1 condition.Being older, I'm more careful and appreciate the cost of replacing ipads/iphones and I've had my screen protector on for over a year and it's still going strong.

Bought these for hubby, he replaces them every couple of months. They are glass so take the impact and save the screen, but does mean that they need to be changed quite frequently when they break - better than breaking the ipad screen though! When you fit them make sure you follow the instructions and do it in a steamy bathroom as this keeps all the dust levels down and you don't get bubbles.
