I finally had a chance to try my new white embroidery thread. It stitches well and the glossy white shows a nice scallop on the edges of tiny booties which I make for a ministry at our church. This thread works as well as embroidery threads I have used before, which easily costs twice the price. Would recommend and would buy again when I need it. Three cones this size will last a long time.

Three large (LARGE!!) spools of basic black. You'll need a large spindle, this won't fit on your basic sewing machine.This is an excellent value per yard, and who doesn't always need white and black thread? In my experience, Simthread threads are strong, and durable with a beautiful sheen. I use them with a Janome Memory Craft 12000 and never have a problem. I also use them with a basic workhorse Singer machine without issues too. It's dependable, reliable, and strong thread. Very few breaks, even at higher stitching speeds.

I've been using Simthread for my embroidery since I started 2 years ago. I have purchased more expensive embroidery thread and it has actually given me more problems. I rarely have a broken or pulled thread with Simthread. I highly recommend it. Great colors, especially when you are starting out. Go for the biggest collection you can afford. You'll want all those lovely colors!

I’ve been using Simthread for awhile, bought a large set of many colors and have been very happy with it until now. I recently ordered this set of 3 ea red, white & blue 5500 cones. The white thread seems thinner than the thread that I’ve been using that came in the set. Its not quite as strong, I’m using it, but this is more like serger thread than embroidery thread.

Came smashed! At the time I placed my order it was for 1 black, 1 grey, and 1 white spool. But what I received was RED, grey, and white all smashed up. And now the listing has changed to include red? The entire reason I ordered was for the black spool. Now I can’t use any of them because they are so bent up they won’t even sit upright on the spool stand properly - they wobble and snag.

I bought this three pack of Smithread spools and their assorted color pack. This red stitched out very well. Oddly, the red was so full of static it clung to every nearby object until I wiped the spool with a non-cling dryer sheet, which solved the problem. The green variegated thread in this sample block was another brand, and it kept breaking. The Smithread also stitched out well for decorative stitches and with my cording foot. I am looking forward to trying Smithread variegated threads.

Cotton thread breaks easy when quilting on the machine. I like using these Polyester thread as there is less breakage while sewing. I like the combo's of colors as you can use these on light and dark fabric. Working with these sellers was great and got everything out quickly for shipping.

I used this thread for a very large project. As seen in the attached photos, I made an Irish emblem on burlap flags, 20, flags. 11,768 stitches for each emblem. Not one thread issue during the entire project.

Been embroidering for nearly 20 years, these threads are not that good, thread breaks, incorrect tension caused by inaccurate thread weight or winding. Contacted customer service and the reply was that they would let the factory know.. wouldn’t buy again machine downtime makes these more expensive that to brands..

I use Simthread with my Brother PR670e embroidery machine and it's great. It rarely snaps, and produces embroideries with a nice shine. The colours are nice and vibrant, and the spools are large.
