After turning on the coffee pot, it will turn off 15-20 minutes after perking. While perking, you have to watch the light because it will turn off and quit perking. The reset button then needs to be pressed. The reset button (as seen in your illustration is UNDERNEATH and is VERY SMALL.) This can be dangerous. We use this in a women's group and lifting filled coffee urn is not easy or safe. We have now been using it for our women's group for 5 months. This is an IMPOSSIBLE urn. It also requires someone to stand there to watch it to make sure the light doesn't go off. It will go off once or twice during the whole cycle. I know it can't be returned. I'm just writing this so others are aware. I didn't see all the remarks before because we bought it in August 2019.

The instructions are a little lacking in detail but you can easily figure out. Works great, brews quickly, easy to clean and set up.

It's good except it needs a clear knob on top so you can see the perking, see how fast or slow it is boiling.

I didn't realize how large this urn was going to be, but I can live with that. What I can't live with is the inoperable faucet. It delivers the water satisfactorily, but then I have a very difficult time turning off the faucet, with the result that I have water in my drawers, on my counter, and on the floor. I'd like to know how to repair this. NOTE: This is an addition to this review: the urn was replaced as soon as I notified them of the problem.ADDENDUM: The company sent me a replacement, but after a few days I had the same problem with it. Now they want to send me another one. No way! I just want a refund!

The first try we followed the instructions and came back to find that the machine had shut off and only a part of the coffee grounds were wet through the filter this resulted in tinted warm water. We hit the reset button at the bottom and turned it on again and let it run. Ultimately it gave us very watered down coffee because it didn't go through all the grounds in the filter. Later that week we added more coffee grounds to see if it was our error, however it ended up doing the same thing and turning off before making coffee. We reset it and tried again (also looking at the manual), however it produced very weak coffee. We hope to return it and try a smaller solution. Thank you.

I bought this urn to use for school staff meetings and small events, but have used it only about five times. Everyone says it makes really good coffee and it looks nice, but it turns off during percolation and has to be turned on again about three times before finishing a cycle. This is very inconvenient when setting up for an event or meeting, as I have to stay with it until it's finished or the coffee won't be ready on time. I wish there was a way to fix this, especially since I spent almost $100 on it. I can't see it standing up to heavy use because of this feature. I contacted the company and they are honoring the warranty.
