No seriously .. it's the height of a small child. My goal for purchasing this was to wear it as an accessory on my belt in places where it's appropriate but no -- wearing this will be like wearing a broom. This whip is LONG, my gosh. I really don't know if I should return it or trim it or accept it in my life. It is very well made and I guess made for some serious whipping and some serious swing. It is no toy and no "accessory".
