So I used these for 6 months with my nespresso—if you like nespresso and are looking for a bold authentic espresso this is def a great brand— but for me I always found myself going to Starbucks whenever I could for fresh espresso. The pod platform Keurig created that nespresso also uses is great for people who don’t care all that much what their coffee tastes like or who don’t have time to do anything about it, but for anything more than a slightly stale shot of espresso produced very quickly, you’ll want to opt for a small casabrew or some sort of actual espresso machine. But if you’re not too particular about your espresso or desperate for something closer than a k cup in a jam, Cafe La Llave pods are still closest thing I could get to fresh espresso quality and will produce a solid shot for convenience sake. And if you’re adding some kind of cream/sugar it matters even less.
