Excellent feature rich and value pack
Pack arrive in a zipped plastic bag, folded over backwards in half. I'm not a fan of such packaging by the manufacturer. The pack doesn't have a stiffen back, no "suspension" so it makes it not as bad still the rear of the pack is made of thicker materials and it does leave a crease.Featurewise, the pack has many positives. the first being that all the zippers are YKK instead of SBS. Most Chinese third party bargain packs have SBS zippers but these are YKK and are ever slightly smoother. The inside top zip is nice if you want to store wallets or sensitive items inside the pack at the top of the main compartment. The outside front compartment is deep and will hold a lot. so, the pluses of this pack is that it is narrow but long and the pockets take advantage of the length giving you very deep pockets. another great feature that is becoming popular on pack is the rear back pocket in the lumbar area. This not only makes it an extremely secure pocket but you "stuff" will bulk up the lumbar pads, providing more support. I wish more pack will add this feature.

Useful depth
I bought this daypack because it's deeper than most, allowing me to accommodate some special equipment that's just too long to fit into a "normal" daypack without problems. It's met my needs in that regard. The material is lighter than I would like, but that's common to almost all such daypacks these days (unless you pay a premium price for a heavy-duty unit, which I can't afford). It's stood up to light rain OK, although I suspect it wouldn't do as well in a real downpour - an external rain cover might be a good idea. Overall, I think it offers reasonably good value for money.

Right size
This backpack have the right size for people that are commuting by bike and need to carry a lot of things...You can carry a new set of clothes, sneakers, etc and also other stuffs. The only thing that could be better: the back structure is very soft and makes difficult to put the notebook when the backpack is full.

Capability to hold all the fishing gear.
I use this hiking backpack for fishing, especially for jetty fishing. I was able to hold 3 rods at the same time. Two of them were 7’ rods and other one was 8’. Allowed me to have more free hands and carry a personal cooler with ease. Would definitely recommend with the space the 45 L one offered. Even take it to work with me with extra clothes to change into. Holds shoes and a set of clothes with room to spare.

Awesome bag has help you great and fits everything I need
Great bag, fits a ton of stuff. Took it camping on a sand bar for a weekend and it held everything I needed it to, including a hatchet and folding shovel on the outside. Kept everything dry and sand free. It was also easy on my back.

Good pack for short hikes!
I debated between this pack and a bigger size, but settled on the 45L as I figured it's big enough for the day hikes I go on, and can still be used for other things. Its got a laptop section and so many pockets, so during the winter it'll be great for toting my laptop and textbooks around university campus, while taking the strain off my shoulders.Used this pack on a day hike up Mt Sagamook at carleton park in nb. I had it full of first aid, water, gatorade, snacks, my camera, and still had room for a sweater and extra socks amongst other small things I like to carry while hiking. Absolutely love the fit on my back as well. It don't feel too big, or too small. Also, there's so many pockets and it feels very durable so far. The side pockets worked great for my water bottle and gatorade bottle as well so I didnt have to keep opening the whole pack for a drink, and they never fell out even while climbing some rocks. The waist and chest straps helped alot on keeping the pressure of my items divided, but even with it full I never felt uncomfortable with it on! I will note theres is no frame to keep it solid, but I knew that when ordering and that was something I didn't need for all I do for hiking, which is never more than a good afternoon hike.So if you want a decent sized pack for those day trips, or even just a supportive backpack for school, I'd reccommend this pack!Haven't tested out the water resistent capabilities yet, but the material feels durable and slightly water shedding material atleast! So 5 stars, very happy with my purchase so far. Fingers crossed it has a long life!

Ripped first trip I used it on
Ordered this backpack for a trip. It was to replace my previous backpack that I have had for over 10 years. Overall seemed decent, but the water bottle pouches on the side didnt survive one trip - the sewed seam split open. Maybe I just got one that slipped past quality control, but at this point i couldnt recommend buying this bag.

Great Bag ! Just a little on the small side.
So its a great bag for a hike.... I dont know how well it will hold up durability wise but its in good condition and looks/feels well made. Having said that Its allot smaller then i thought it would be.... If you are a bigger person i would say this is not the best but works.

What you see is what you get
I bought this because I wanted a large L60 bag for day-to-day use in the city, and didn't want a backpack with a hiking frame that would make it look like I was planning to climb Everest after work. This bag achieved my admittedly limited objectives. So no complaints about quality, although the amount of hiking-only components like hip straps, etc, still required some customizations (i.e. cutting them off). I can report that removing these components did not affect the integrity of the rest of the bag.
