Can you tell me the length of the metal teeth please

The length of the metal part of teeth is about 1/2" - I use this comb on my cross yorkie/jack russell and find it really good at removing the fleas but you have to work at it two or three times a day to keep them under control!!

How does the comb work on ticks do it remove the whole tick

You have to be very careful when removing ticks that you do not leave the head behind. The comb will easily capture a tick that is within the coat that is unattached.

Would this be OK on long thick rag doll cat hair

As long as you have thoroughly brushed before. You would need to section off the hair. Use it slowly and gently. My cat who is not the easiest cat loved it. Good luck x

Can this comb work on a Pomeranian? Mine has the usual thick undercoat which is where I'm find the flea dirt.

It might be a challenge as the teeth on the comb are not that long but you could try parting the hair in order to get lower down and closer to the skin.
