Perfect for trail repairs !!!
Exactly what you need for cv boots. I own band clamp tools and do use them on customer cars, but these are perfect for you offroaders out there that maintain, rebuild and repair your cv joints regularly. Even just as a trail spare, sure beats messing with band clamps in the dirt !!!

Worked.
These did the job when other clamps failed.

Stopped leaking CV boot on my 2008 FJ
Stopped leaking CV boot on my 2008 FJ after being lifted. Saves you the time of finding assorted clamps that are the right size.

Do their job perfectly
I don't know if they are metric or what but the SAE size that fits them is an odd 1 but they work great. The dumb adapter that is required for my particular 4runner can pop out if I over tighten the larger clamps but as long as you are careful they work great.

Fit 06 Tundra DC.
I have not used small clamps yet, but the large ones are the right size for an 06 Tundra DC.

Definitely doesn’t fit Tundra
Smaller clamps work fine. The larger clamps are far too large. The drive on the band was not enough to get tight around the big side of the CV boot….very disappointed.

Overpriced Hose Clamps
There are 3 issues with these. First of all on my 2015 Tacoma there was clearance problems with the large clamp. There was .025 clearance between the screw and the lower control arm with the factory lower ball joints. I'm afraid when those are replaced these will have to come off.Next, the screw interferes with the mount for the ABS speed sensor wire mount so you'll need to bend that up about a 1/2 inch or when you go to drive your rig you'll probably break the clamp or your ABS wire. And lastly, the clamp is too wide to seat the boot in the machined groove on the CV shaft housing, so it's just a compression fit over the top which is not as secure as an actual CV boot clamp. I'll save these for some other purpose but for the advertised purpose they come up short.

These are solid
These are easy to install and strong like bull! Replaced on all 4 CV boots during a regrease. No problems so far (2 months).
