The dress arrived sooner than expected. It is exactly like the picture and fits except it’s too long for me as I am very short, I will be shortening it. Will definitely buy more in different colours.

On my body it didn't look good, even though it's a pretty dress and has a gorgeous colour. It would best suit a tall and thin person. I carry my weight around my belly and upper body, and the heavy rouching around the waist made me look like I'm pregnant or heavier than I am. I'm 63 kilos and 162 cm, so that's not that bad really. If you're not tall but thin, you must wear it with heals, otherwise you'd appear even smaller and you'd be dragging it on the ground. The material is very pleasant to the touch, as heavy as expected from a full lenght dress. Seems a bit delicate, so cold, delicate wash is a must. I returned it since the style doesn't suit me. But it really is a pretty dress for the appropriate bodytype.

I ordered a size smaller than I would normally , as I wanted it loose and it runs large. The fabric is good quality and nicely weighted, the top is cut well and cover bra straps easily, the scoop neck is not too low for decency. I also tried it with a linen jacket and heels , happily it is smart enough to be dressed up or down. The skirt is generous and swishes nicely when you walk . I saw that some people were unhappy about the position of the raised waist, but I found it to be very comfortable. It isn't quite high enough to be Empire line, but I didn't find the skirt flared out over the stomach at all. I am 5' 7" and the hem was on my ankle. I would happily buy more if there were other patterns I liked.

Finally! Not too long, perfect fit! Im short 5' 4" and this sits nicely without hitting floor! Only thing is my velcro strap on my sandal would catch so have to be aware of that if footwear has that ! But the dress in navy isnot see through, very comfortable, i have since bought 2 patterned ones as they basically wear themselves! I don't have a big bust otherwise i think size wise the top part would have been too small as it is very fitted. But i love it!
