John Sterling BK-0103-22 Fast Mount 300-Pound Capacity 20-Inch Shelf Bracket, Black

I put this up about 3 years ago in my shop. I lag-bolted the verticals to studs (one vertical on each stud), and put these shelf brackets on without any shelving. This makes a near perfect lumber storage rack. The system can probably hold a thousand pounds, and I can adjust it as I need it. After three years there is no evidence that it was anything other than a great choice.My one question. I bought these brackets this year to add a new row to the system. I ordered six. Now WHY did Amazon think I needed each one in its own separate box? Imagine my surprise coming home to a 5 foot stack of 6 24 X 18 boxes on my doorstep! And now I have to recycle all that stuff. . .

These are great brackets but they are not 22 inch brackets, they are 20 inch brackets and it says so right on the bracket. At some point the manufacturer shortened them to 20 inches but kept the same model number. They should not be advertised as 22 inch brackets because they are not. That being said, they can still adequately support a 24 inch shelf, such as a half sheet of plywood and probably still have the same weight rating. If you buy them direct from the seller's web site you may get a much better price. Do some research before buying! You can thank me later.

I have six sets of these and am totally satisfied with them. Each set has as much lumber as can legitimately be set on them. Instead of it being stacked on the garage floor, there are six nice packets of six to eight foot long boards laid out on these.I am totally satisfied with the Fast Mounts and the associated standards.

I used these to mount a desk top to a portable metal frame I welded together. These are stronger than I need but they definitely did the trick!

easy to install and strong

The racks are strong for vertical pressure, but the tabs that go into the wall mount are quite flimsy. I am sure it would have worked if I first installed a shelf on top of the racks, but I purchased the racks for storing kayaks. The tabs bent as soon as there was any sideways motion of the bracket. I expected a heavier gauge metal.

Great brackets for shelf storage in Garage or atti

We purchased the whole setup for installing garage shelving. The 22" shelf brackets were on the upper shelves so we could put large plastic containers on them for storing camping equipment. The 11 brackets were used for lower shelves for gardening equipment you need daily in the summer. Worked out beautifully.Two seniors, 2 thumbs, no problem.

Works like a charm.

What I wanted at a good price.

These are huge shelf brackets that hold almost anything.
