Years ago I asked a beautician what I could do to prevent my hair from falling out. I had very long hair and she made two suggestions. First I could take a natural supplement with silica in it and second was to keep my hair cut short. For the next fifteen years I took Nature Works Body Essential Silica and kept my very long hair. It slowed the thinning down until I finally cut it short and now I have much thicker hair and following both of her suggestions have a fuller head of hair than when I first cut it short about five years ago. I have tried other brands with silica in them but this one works the very best and makes a great deal of difference for me. I also find that my fingernails and toenails are stronger and chip much less as an added benefit to taking this supplement.

If your goal is stronger, healthier hair and nails, this product is for you! I started noticing positive changes in my nails within 2 weeks. Even after I took a pause from taking the supplement, the strengthening effects continued for weeks.

The only thing I have a little trouble with is the need to take 6 pills a day, two @ a time between meals. I somehow tend to forget.
