Although I do not know much about dehydrating, this seems to be a nice one. It had all the features I was looking for. More than 500 watts (this is 600); stainless steel trays also stainless inside and outside; rear fan, adjustable timer; adjustable temperature. Seems to work great.

I like every thing about this product its simple and easy to use a piece of cake to clean up the only thing that I can say bad about this product is I wish I had bought this unit first,I have had this unit for about two months I make beef jerky and have made about 30 lbs of meat and it has never failed to do its job.

I LOVE this product, it's amazing. I have no trouble at all. You don't have to rotate trays like on those annoying round dehydartors. I searched for a long time and this was well worth the money. Includes different trays, such as paper, grids, leather tray

The dehydrator function works great however the product detail said that it has a freeze dryer setting and it does not. Otherwise it works great!

I have had two of these dehydrators. The first one, the clear window on the door fell out after just a couple of uses and it would only heat to about 160F. I returned it to Amazon and they send me another one, It too only heats to about 160F. Don't know about the clear door panel yet

Lowest noise compared against premium units and every bit as functional. Several hundred hours on mine with zero issues. People complain about no off switch, but this is necessary as fan needs to continue to run under a few second cool down cycle after heating element turns off to prevent damage to the element or other wiring. Simply unplug unit when done with a project if the lcd bothers you.Nice heat range and even air flow has worked for both easy 2 hour herb/tea dry and harder 48 hour dried tomatoes.

Temps are preset at the temps they suggest for fruits veggies etc. I would have given it 5 stars if the temps would have been totally adjustable. It is well made and works great.. I ordered more of the Teflon sheets and love the fruit leather that can be made with out any preservatives.

Great dehydrator with perfect, even heating. No need to rotate trays because the heating element is in the back. I own two other dehydrators, both with the heating element at the bottom; which means I have to rotate trays so they get an even amount of heat. No need for that with this machine. Racks are easy to clean and move around. The digital control panel is easy to use. The dehydrator looks nice and not cheap but it is bulky. Definitely not a small appliance. It does exert some heat. I had to move stuff on the counter top away while making jerky because anything near it got warmed. Overall, I’m happy with with purchase and would highly recommend it.

Just received and used it for making kale chips and mushroom chips over the weekend. It is more powerful than my previous plastic one. As the drying trays are stainless steel I set the temperature at 158F. Kale chips retained nice dark green color. Hope there is a manufacturer to make the collection tray also stainless steel.

Does not dehydrate in the time specified doesn't seem to work properly

The box came damaged, have not opened to inspect as it is a Christmas gift. What are my options?
