KLOS Black Carbon Fiber Acoustic Tenor Ukulele Kit with Gig Bag, Rain Cover, Strap, and more

The ukulele came well packed and on time. I had a question and called the company and they were very helpful. I like that I can leave this uke in my trunk and not have to worry about the weather conditions. What a relief!

I order this Ukulele as a birthday gift for myself. As all of us do in the Ukulele world, we just can help ourselves in buying too many Ukulele. My go to favorite in my family of Ukes is My Tenor Ibanez with a low G string. I really love that deeper sound. It's pre-ampped with a pick up. It's so lovely, but I'm hard on instruments. Wires are loose, and it sounds muffled. Finding a luthier is near impossible.Well, I know I'm getting pretty good at playing so why not look for a more expensive Uke. I found this. I believe even Jake S. endorced this Uke. I was disappointed at first because for some reason I thought it was pre-amp. It does have a pick-up and strap buttons, which important to me. But straight of the box it stayed in tune as soon as I tunned it. None of this working in the strings. I usually change the strings immediately, especially to put a low string on. But not this one. It plays so beautifully, it actually covers up your flaws a bit, if that makes sense. As you transition from one chord to next, if you do it a bit sloppy, this Uke makes it sound like nothing happened. It has beautiful acoustic and resonate. It surprises me how much better my playing sounds. I haven't plugged in to my amp yet. But I HIGHLY recommend this Uke to anybody that's trying to take their playing to next level.

I am involved in gigs that take me and my group around the island. Wear and tear is no stranger in our line of programs, and I need an instrument that is up to par. The KLOS ukulele is built to handle the stress on the road, and I am thankful to the KLOS brothers (& company) for bringing it into existence.I look forward to when KLOS builds a solid body ukulele retrofitted with a pickup system designed to amplify each string on the saddle. The bar type in all ukuleles is old school. But for an advanced instrument like the KLOS, it will only further enhance its uniqueness for all future generations to enjoy. I wanted one of these for awhile, and finally pulled the trigger after seeing two reviews on youtube. I live in super dry Colorado, and am just tired of messing with humidifiers for the solid wood ukulele.I was nervous, because you never know until you hear it in person. This ukulele is amazing, and louder than my solid wood Kala. It has a very easy action and is clear as a bell all the way to the 15th fret. I find it remarkable. The tone is a little cooler than wood, which I expected, but it isn't muffled or muted at all. There is nothing muddy in the sound of this instrument.I am taking it to the luthier's tomorrow to get flurocarbon strings put on it (kind of nervous to do it myself as it seems a bit mysterious.It is taking a little to get use to the small head and tightening the strings, but I think I will adjust quickly as I have small hands.I'm just pleased. I am actually think about getting my twin sister one so we can be twin-sames :)10/10 would buy it again.

I have soprano and concert ukuleles. Wanted to get a non-wood uke to take camping/backpacking. I was worried the tenor would be too big, but I think it's barely bigger than my concert uke, so it will be just fine. It came with a nice carrying case AND rain cover (awesome!), so I plan on strapping it to the rear of my pack. It sounds great and seems louder than my wood ukes, in a good way. Love the nylon strings. Going to replace the G for a low G (just my preference). So happy with this purchase! I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about it!! <3

A member of one of the ukulele classes I go to has the all carbon fiber acoustic version of this uke. He also has an electric version. When I first heard him playing the acoustic carbon Klos at class I couldn’t believe how great it sounded. I have a quiver of about 30 ukuleles, several really high quality ones, and all made of wood. However, I just couldn’t resist buying a Klos after hearing his. Mine arrived two days ago and I can’t leave it alone. Everything about this ukulele is perfect for me. I have short, fat fingers that are old man soft. The narrow neck of this uke makes It much easier for me to play. The sound is mellow and the sustain is long weather strumming or picking. The preamp/tuner works very well and is high quality with low, mid, and high trim pots. There’s nothing that I would change on this instrument and it is now my goto ukulele. This ukulele is very distinctive in its appearance (in a good way) and came strung with high G tuning, producing a very bright sound which was louder than expected. I restrung it with low G fluorocarbon strings (my preference) and the sound became warmer and very close in quality to my Koa uke, which I really like. I'm still getting used to my new uke, but so far I'm really impressed. It came with a high-quality gig bag, rugged strap and good quality electronics, making it a good value. I recommend it.
