Initially, I wanted to buy this product so that I could have a distinguished device for listening to music apart from my phone. I would find that I would not be able to stay on track with important tasks if I was overloaded with other apps on the same device. I looked around on eBay, AliExpress, Alibaba, and Amazon and thought I would try this item out. After using this item for a month or two, I believe I was correct in purchasing this item. The build quality is what is to be expected for the price. nothing has cracked so far but it is definitely breakable and not indestructible . It is a little bit larger than a smaller iPod however, it still fits in jeans and pant pockets without issue. This item requires a wired connection for the audio. So I would recommend getting some better quality earphones for best experience. And I tried using the item with a lower quality set of ear buds and I didn’t get a good playback of my songs. If this happens to just switch out the earpieces you were using because I don’t think it would be the device itself. Downloading songs onto the device is also incredibly easy. You just need a computer and some really basic computing experience. The manual goes over how to download songs in depth. As for the battery life, and I’ve listened for eight continuous hours before it dying out. If you have a battery pack for your phone, then it should work for this device as well. Given you half the cable on hand. The cable is also pretty standard so you shouldn’t have any issues finding it. Overall, this item is extremely practical and a good budget option.

Unfortunately broke the day after the refund and return window. Within a week the screen started to peel off from the body of the music player, but still functioned. Until one day it just stopped working. It gets hot while charging which is a little nerve racking as it was my 7 year old son's. It supports a wired connection with no wireless support. I thought this would be a cheap simple music player, but this one is too cheap. Spen a little bit more and get something that won't fall apart.

Good item works good

I don't know if this was in the product description, and I just missed it, but the player itself has no built in memory. It requires a Micro SD card, which it doesnt come with. Luckily, my mom came to the rescue with a spare SD card, so I don't need to return the product. As for the player itself, it's nothing super special, but it had more features than I was expecting at this price. It has one small puzzle game, called BoxMan, can support a variety of different file types for music, videos, and even Ebooks. It also has FM radio. It does not come with instructions, only a FAQ and a small diagram of what the buttons do, but the device is straight forward enough that it doesnt really need instructions. All in all, I'm satisfied for the time being, but we'll see how it holds up with daily use.

I got thr purple color, color is off but no biggie. Battery life is about 4 hrs, but it charges very quickly. Sound is fine, about the same as a cd player. DOES NOT HAVE VOLUME CONTROL the volume button acts as a go back button. I have discovered that if you get earbuds with the volume buttons/slider attached to the wire you can change volume. It organizes music alphabetically, so your albums will not appear or play in original order, they will play in alphabetical order. You can make playlists that it doesn't organize, so you can still listen to albums in order but it's very tedious. It will automatically be on shuffle, to turn this off you have to go to now playing >menu>play mode> repeat >repeat off. Definitely not amazing quality but it's functional once you figure it out and it's less than 20 bucks.

I had the Mac version of this thing back in the day and paid a lot for it. This thing was inexpensive, easy to load with music and works great. I think I'll buy my son one also. Good deal for the cost.

This arrived yesterday and I was really ready to add songs and enjoy in my car. I couldn’t even get the date to change to current. Changed the date about 8 times and each time it would go back to 05.01.21. No cord to connect to your computer. NO INSTRUCTIONS other than what buttons are what. I think you need to buy a SD card or something but didn’t say this in description on line. Every time I would try another button, it would get an error. I am returning this piece of crap. Save yourself the time and effort of having to send this back and don’t buy it in the first place.

The MP3 player works fine, nothing fancy, but works well. Be aware that an SD card is not provided and it has no internal memory, so you can't actually add any music files until you buy a seperate SD card. This was a frustrating discovery. Once I bought a seperate card, it worked fine.
