Great alternative for getting to work, saves me a lot of money.
This bike works great and very affordable. The bike was already put together except for the wheels and handlebar which to all of 15 minutes to attach and tighten. I have been using it for almost a year now and it is a serious game changer. I don't go many places (work, store, and back home) so paying almost 300 a month for gas and insurance on my car seemed like a waste especially now with gas prices the way they are. Now I'm getting a little extra exercise and saving a ton of money at the same time. Also the customer service for this bike is amazing. My bike suddenly quit working out of nowhere ( I exclusively ride this bike everyday and in winter so I wasn't super shocked) and when I messaged the seller explaining what was going on they sent me a replacement motor and controller for free since it was still under warranty, and now it runs better than ever. The battery life was surprisingly long, and lasted me almost two round trips from home to work to home and work again without a need for a charge up. A heads up for anyone about to buy this bike, do not charge the battery unless absolutely necessary. If your battery is below 40 or 30 percent then yeah you should probably charge it up. I ruined my original battery that came with the bike from plugging it in after every trip thinking keeping the battery 100 percent fully charged was a good idea (it's not). I would plug it in at home and leave it charging over night and then when I got to work I would leave it plugged in there too all day until I would go home and repeat the cycle all over. This made it so the battery would not hold a charge and you will end up needing to buy a brand new battery which costs almost as much as the bike itself. However I will say, if you can afford it, go ahead and order the bike and buy an upgraded battery, just make sure it is from ancheer and it is the same wattage as the original. That way you can experience the full potential of the bike and still have a backup battery for emergency. Upgrading the battery takes it from an ok ebike to a excellent ebike (i.e. power, distance you can go and ability to climb steep hills)

A Good Bike, at a Great Value
All in all, a very good purchase. I have wanted an e-bike for a while, but was afraid of the cost. When I saw this one and read the reviews, I figured it would be worth a chance, and either I would like having one, and maybe eventually get a nicer one, or I would remember how much I don’t like bike riding, and save myself some money for a space occupier.Assembly was pretty simple, especially if you are a bicycle person. I am not. Through YouTube, I was able to get the gear somewhat tuned, but I had to bring it in to a bike shop for them to get everything set right. I could ride it after my attempt, but the bike shop made it way better. It was a decent $11 spent.I’m a bigger guy, so I bought the 350w version. Plenty of torque and power for me. The battery and motor setup are not very advanced. There is one button that turns it on and selects the amount of assist. So you basically have a 5-speed motor that runs when the pedals are going. So your assist is just on at whatever level you set it. To get to 3 from 5, you have to click past one and two, if that makes sense. And it’s really only 4 gears, because I don’t notice anything on 1. You also have a throttle on the right. When you turn on the assist, at any level, the throttle will drive the wheels without pedaling. It also seems to be a little bit of all or nothing with the throttle. It doesn’t seem like holding it softer makes you go slower. You kind of have to modulate your speed by timing your on and off. At first, all of this took a little getting used to, and when you make mistakes at first it can be a little unsettling. But after literally just a few minutes, or one good ride, it’s totally without thought.I would describe this bike as a good battery/motor system, on a typical $100-150 bike from a big box store. It’s not gonna win any awards for style and design. But it is probably very similar to any bike I would have purchased without a motor. I was not going to be spending $4-500 on a bike without a motor, and I was not going to be spending $1500 on an e-bike. This one hit a pretty sweet spot right in the middle. One other note, it’s heavy. Not prohibitively so, but if you are loading two bikes, this one will be markedly heavier.

Worth it
This bike is a great commuter bike. I live 5 miles from work and use it daily. Usually w/o traffic I can make it in around 15-17 minutes. It's built well.Things to note:1. The brakes are designed for a regular pedal bike, so when you brake at 22 mph a lot, the brakes get loose fast, and you need to brake sooner.2. Because of the speed you'll pick up a lot of thorns, stickers, shrapnel on the road. I recommend having extra tubes always on hand. And it's not the same as changing a normal tube . It's a bit harder3. The range indicated is if you are on the lowest setting of pedal assist. So if you are at the highest setting you get about 10 miles out of one battery charge. Also the pedal assist and throttle seem to deplete the battery at the same rate.4. You'll want a better seat. The one it comes with isn't very comfy. It's a great deal for the price, and is so much fun to ride.
