These lights are so lovely. There is a glass base and mesh sides which give an air of quality to the fitment It would have been 5 star review had one of the shades arrived bent with the mesh detached. This was swiftly dealt with by Amazon and the light looks just so beautiful now My electrician loves them so much he is thinking of ordering for his home! One note , ensure you buy quality led bulbs as the first basic version purchased caused buzzing I since changed to better quality dimmable bulbs and there is only the very slightest of buzz when using with bg dimmer switch. Overall VERY happy with the quality of light (moved from old fitment 250watt to these 180 watt equivalent and the brightness is similar)

Unpack with care and read the assembly instuctions with care too.
Packaging. Placing the glass disc at the base almost resulted in me throwing the box away with the glass still embedded in the styrene. A warning is needed.

Good looking lamp, easy to install.
Our electrician had no problem installing this. It was all done in 20 minutes. Very bright white light when used with 3 small globe LED bulbs and the lamp looks very modern.
