3/8" Compressed air in line filter & desiccant air dryer combination SPRAY GUN EQUIPEMENT PAINT BOOTH COMPRESSOR

Works great. Painted my vehicle in the garage. Had to dry the dessicant in the oven for 1 hour at 170 degrees after it picked up moisture. Swapped out to the other bag when needed. Dried that one too. Great for running auto body tools. I have a gauge on the inlet with a valve upstream. Had another brand start leaking when I drained the moisture at 80 pounds. So installed the shut off valve upstream and follow the instructions not to exceed x amount ( I think it was 15#) when draining. I have it written on the case. Would recommend.

For the price this is a great little dryer. I use mine with a plasma cutter and HVLP spray gun. To address the "O-ring sucks claims". The o-ring is SUPPOSED to come out. If it falls out when your replacing the desciant its perfectly fine just put it back where it came from before you screw the desicant housing back on. With that said as far as desciant dryers go this is a little on the small side so it doesnt hold much desicant, in turn you will have to replace the desciant more offen than you would a larger one. This has been a minor inconvenience for me and the unit has worked great for almost a year.

Other than the drain valve (which seems like it leaks at first, but it actually does not leak when pressurized), this unit worked very well. There was much more water trapped in the desiccant beads than a typical in-line filter and the paint came out with much less orange peel than without it. That plastic drain valve though, ruins the whole product. A single use turned half my beads pink, so I know it is doing a good job. Buy extra beads.

The FIRST time I take it apart to replace the desiccant and it won’t go back together with any kind of seal.

Nobody is commenting on the fact the little valve on the bottom is garbage. It leaks like crazy. Superglue solved that. I thought for a minute I should let it leak so the moisture would never build up but it was such a strong leak I would be cycling the compressor. I super glued the valve closed and dropped some int he hole.....and will look for a replacement valve. Something metal. Otherwise I do not have any complaints. Very heavy and well built.

Seems like a good kit. It's been keeping air to my plasma cutter clean and dry.

***Update*** Have had this product for just over a year. In the middle of doing orders, it started leaking air out the bottom of both cylinders and could no longer get any air pressure to my gun. Not sure what the problem is but the valve may have failed.I have been using this filter for about 2 months now. I have been very satisfied with the ease of installation and the performance.

Works great for small to medium paint jobs, or other applications needing dry air. Good price for a well built item.
