Moshi iVisor XT (HD clear) No-Bubble Screen Protector for the Kindle Fire HD 7 (will only fit 3rd generation)

To start with, Moshi makes the best screen protectors out there. No bubbles, no mess, installation that takes literally a few seconds. It's a winner all the way around.It's a winner EXCEPT for when Amazon shows the actual screen protector that will fit your 3rd generation Kindle Fire HD 7" screen and then ships one that's for Kindle Fire HD 7" (no generation defined) which has no hole for the camera that's on the left front of the device, and is 1/2" too long for the device, making it so you have to trim and then of course part of the black frame on the protector covers part of your screen on the device.The attached photos are of the packaging that was shipped (center photo), the image that is on the actual product ordering page on the far right (which shows the camera hole on the protector) and the Kindle on the left (3rd generation) that shows the camera where the hole in the protector should be. Note that the packaging that was shipped doesn't say anything about it being 3rd generation. This is key to the protector actually fitting the device screen.I received this a little over a week ago and ended up trimming the edges which screwed up the way it fits the screen and part of my screen is now blocked by the black protector edge. I called Amazon and told them they sent the wrong item so they sent out a new one. Wrong one, again. No camera hole, even on the packaging (I haven't opened it because I know already that it's wrong) and it will be too big (again) for my Kindle screen.I am SO frustrated because I had previously purchased an actual 3rd generation Moshi screen protector for this exact Kindle Fire HD 7" 3rd generation and had to replace it after several years of use and reapplication and that one was perfect, right out of the package, camera hole and all. This one is so wrong, and I'm so angry that Amazon is so stupid and is paying no attention to the details that in this case, actually make the product right or completely wrong for your device. What's more is that they insist on the phone that it's correct and then ship the wrong thing. Again. Twice. Grrr. Going straight to Moshi to buy this item now. Yes, I'll pay more, but I'll get the correct item.

Decided I needed a screen protector for my Kindle Fire HD. The screen can get really messed up with all the use. This protector does seem to minimize that problem.It was really easy to put on - well, once I got the backing off, that is. This sits just above the Kindle's screen but doesn't seem to inhibit the touch screen response much. I just had to adjust the brightness of the device a bit because it does seem to darken the screen ever so slightly.It comes with a square of microfiber cloth that does a great job of cleaning. This is supposed to be reusable but I don't anticipate have to remove it so I guess that will remain to be seen.It is a bit on the pricey side but for the ease of application and the lack of mess, I think it's worth it.

I have been using Zagg screen protectors for years on various devices. Although I have not had any problems with their durability or performance, I would rather gargle glass than put one of these on. I had to have about an hour to spare between applying it to the right area of the device and getting all the air bubbles out. And another hour to spare doing it all over if it caught a piece of dust. Not to mention the unsightly fingerprint marks that were always inevitable at at least one of the corners.I discovered the Moshi iVisor screen protector completely by accident while doing a search on Amazon.com for a screen protector for the Kindle Fire HDX I bought my mother for Christmas. It took all of about 3 seconds to put on. No air bubbles, no fingerprints, and most importantly NO FRUSTRATION!! I just purchased a second one for my own Kindle Fire HD.I will not be purchasing any other screen protector EVER AGAIN!! HIGHLY recommend!! Worth EVERY PENNY!!!

If putting on those thin screen covers and trying to wipe out all the bubbles always seems like a hassle, try this product. The thick plastic is easy to line up on your Kindle and it sticks immediately, with no bubbles at all. Perfect! Since the border is black (just like the device), you don't have to worry if your fingers touch a bit of the very edge. I have not had to take my off and clean it, but supposedly you can, and then you just stick it back on again. If they made an anti-glare version I would give it a perfect 5 stars. This product is well worth the extra it costs compared to those thin, cheap, bubble-prone pieces of you-know-what.

This screen protector is extremely easy to put on and very high quality - absolutely NO bubbles, no super sticky staticy thing that will not cooperate. Took it off to reposition it once and although a bit hard to get your fingernail back under it to start the peeling off, it peeled off and stuck back on perfectly and each time there were NO bubbles at all! Two kids been using it since Christmas and cleans right up and shows no sign of wear. The price on this one may hold you back from purchasing it, but it should not - it is really worth it. I purchased a highly rates different brand of screen protector for my own computer - came 2 in a pack. Both of them wound up in the trash and I still do not have a screen protector on that computer. Complete waste of that money. I would buy this product again without hesitation - it is everything it says it is.

I was a bit concerned about this part of buying my first kindle. I'd seen poorly done screen protectors with the bubbles and misalignment problems and I just knew that I wouldn't be able to get it done right.Boy, was I surprised when I opened this protector and found that the clear area itself has no adhesive on it...therefore no bubbles on the screen. Super easy to apply and super easy to take off and re-apply (I had to take it off and start over a couple of times because I couldn't get it straight LOL).My only mild complaint is that it's got a glossy finish that can make reading difficult in bright light due to the reflection, but I've found that if I just change the text style and brightness on my kindle, the problem is mostly solved.Great protector and totally worth the money.

I was very disappointed to discover I could not read my Kindle Fire in bright sunlight - my ordinary Kindles were no problem. I bought this screen protector (it is not that cheap) and the online chat operator assured me it would fix the problem and I would be able to read in bright sunlight again. It didn't fix it, but I do feel better having a screen protector. However, I am still very disappointed that I can't read in bright sunlight. I live on Cyprus and there is (nearly) always bright sunlight! Plus holiday reading will be useless too.Extremely disappointed with the advice I received in my online chat.

Really easy to apply only problem is it it quite glossy and does not help with using my kindle hd in bright sunlight. But as the uk don't get much sun this is not too much of a problem.After fitting it you definitely cannot see it is on there.

Much better than the old way of putting a screen protector on,it's so easy to use and on bubbles and I would recommend it to everyone who has the new kindle 7" HD

An excellent idea and as I had my young niece with me, she did the honours and made a far better job of it than I would have done!

very very expensive for all that it is. then I ordered a cover for my kindle and it came with similar screen at no extra charge
