Nice little hinges for small projects. Finish is good. Screws are a bit short but head fits flat to the hinge to give a clean look. Hinges are a little stiff but with use should work smoother.

I bought these for several jewelry boxes that I am making. They fit perfectly in a 1/4 inch routed groove with a radius and they snug up when the hinge is fully opened. It didn't come with screws but you can get some number 2 brass screws at the store in the length that you need. You need to drill a pilot hole and I prefer to thread in a steel screw first and then reinstall a brass screw to lesson any damage to the screw head or risk breaking off a brass screw.

Looks cheap but works for an inexpensive product.What in hell is "sheerness"???

The compactness. Perfect for small boxes. First time using inside hinges and these were perfect for me.

I have only opened and begun using two hinges and two screws so far. The first hinge and screw were fine. The second hinge came broken and does not stop where it should. The second screw immediately broke and now I have a very annoying screw extraction too do. This isn't worth it for anything.

I like these hinges, and the quality is very good for the price.

Used two of these hinges on hard maple box lid. Box lid 6 1/2 x 4 1/4 x 6/16 inches thick .. Would guess this is about the limit for two of these hinges. Included screws and extra hinges appreciated. Screws effective in this wood but require precise hole diameter and spacing..used soap for lubricating screw threads to permit driving.
