Worked great , don’t hesitate to buy !!
Working on restoring an old salsa cutthroat bike that was left in bad shape . Chain was rusted pretty bad . Used chain breaker worked on first try with little effort . Happy to have a great little kit like this .

Excellent quality and price
Perfect DIY bicycle chain tool kit. Had my bike chain replaced at a bike shop recently, but now I'm confident I can replace my next chain at home. Very pleased with purchase.

It is a good edition to my bike tools
I did not have a chain stretch gauge or the pliers for setting quick connect links amongst my tools. I do not have to measure of open the chain link often so this remained on my list til I needed it for my bike restoration. This set fit the bill perfectly. Having it also made me confident that I can take my chain off and not end up with a problem. I could measure the chain to see if it became lax and needed replacement or some links removed. Then, I could easily put it together with either a quick connect link or a pin from the shortened links. Plenty of YouTube videos to help you see how to do it all.

2/3 of the Tools Are Great
The Good: The chain breaking tool is not something you would want for commercial use. It is handy as an at-home tool. The chain clamping/separating tool is along the same lines. It works. The price for all three of these tools is phenomenal. Even considering The Bad. The Bad: The chain testing tool is garbage. Usually, the sides are 0.5 and 0.75. This is 0.75 and 1.0. If you know how to use these tools you know that this is absolutely useless. If you don't here's a quick rundown: if you insert the chain testing tool and the 0.5 side fits in the chain completely, it's time to change the chain. If the 0.75 side fits into the chain completely, you have over-used the chain and the cassette is likely worn and may need replacing as well. Therefore, this tool does not give you the chance to replace the chain when you NEED to, it tells you that you're already past the point of EASY and COST EFFECTIVE maintenance.

Worked perfectly on my shimano 8 speed chain
Worked perfectly, but did not come with thorough instructions or explanation. So do your research on how to use correctly as you may bend your chain if you misalign it with the two slots and the pin. The first time you attach the quick links required quite an amount of pulling force to lock them in, but then I retested it and it became easier to open and close the quick link. Highly recommend this product.
