Can't be used against a wall. Horrible assembly. *by S***D on Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2014* First off, these types of trash bins are usually shown against the wall, and that is deceiving As this picture shows just a little, that arch in the back moves with the lid when it's opened so the bin must have about 3" clearance away from the wall to even be used. There is no way it can work against a wall.There is not a way to attach a trash bag to the inside of the bin so if you want to use with a trash bag the bag will have to be folded over to be any use at all and the color of the trash bag will be seen around the top edge. You wouldn't want to use this without a bag anyway. The bottom panel is very thin and there's no easy way to clean the bin out without a bag.Also, double check the measurements. This bin is probably smaller than you realize. I knew the measurements and knew it would be small, but it is still smaller than I was prepared for.Lastly, I have assembled A LOT of furniture in my life and this is by far, without a doubt, the worst thing I have ever had to assemble. Period. Bar none. The screws used in assembly are the tiniest screws I have ever seen and are impossible to work with. The wooden components are not made to any sort of precision. Any time you have to slide a piece of backing or bottom the grooves on the different pieces don't line up. Not even close. I had to use a drill to "adjust" all the grooves to get stuff to fit. None of the pre-drilled holes lined up. Though, oddly, the hinges are very nice and do have a feature to keep the lid from falling back completely. The one bright spot in this bin of misery.
