Poultry Shears
These were good for cutting up left over lamb to make a stir fry, although they seemed a bit cumbersome for trimming bacon, but I guess that they are not specifically designed for that. I did also test them on carrots, but as you can imagine, they were a bit slippery. I like them, but unless you dissect poultry on a regular basis, there are quite a few other things on the market which fulfill a wider kitchen use then these, especially given their price. They can be disassembled for ease of cleaning.

Sharp
Good sharp poultry scissors. They don't seem to have a bone crunching feature like other shears I've had but are so useful in the kitchen for a myriad of tasks. Cutting up sausages for ragus, cutting herbs small over the pan etc. They have washed well (not in the dishwasher) and are comfortable to use. MIne came apart after two uses but they are meant to for easy, hygienic cleaning and I was able to reassemble

They're ok not the best
These are not that sharp and cut better at the pointed end than throughout. Also they are really fiddly to get back together when taken apart. The instructions did help somewhat with this though. You need to clip the area art the handle first together before fixing the middle. It took my boyfriend five minutes of fiddling to do it the first time. They are not the best hence the three stars.

Industrial quality
No awards for good looks here - these are very impressive almost industrial quality poultry shears. Made of good quality stainless steel these are really ideal for cutting through chicken wings and legs before prepping for the barbecue. Strong, easy to use these dishwasher safe shears seem built to last. Big and ugly they perform really well.

Nice and sharp
These are sturdy, strong and sharp poultry scissors. I have used them to cut chicken as well as other meats such as pork loin and chicken breasts. They wash well in the dishwasher and feel very long lasting.Useful item for the kitchen drawer.

Cuts through chicken easily
We have quite a bit of chicken and cutting it up to pop in a paella or using the left over chicken for a curry is far easier with a good pair of scissors like this. The Chef'n FreshForce scissors have comfy large handles and serrated edges and cut through chicken really easily. They are easy to wash clean, too.

Very good for poultry and small bones
These kitchen scissors are ONLY good for poultry and small bones - for this they deserve 5 stars and that's what they are aimed for and sold for. They are strong but blunt thus not really useable for much more (i.e. cutting paper). The ease of disassembly is a welcome addition - we wash them in our dishwasher and this really helps.I think these are good for any kitchen but need to be supplemented with another pair of multi-use scissors.

Good, easy to clean poultry scissors
These poultry scissors are really good at their specific job - my husband often uses these when he is preparing food (he prefers to cook meat dishes with bones included for extra flavour) and these cut well - gripping and slicing through flesh and skin easily - there is a bit more effort required to cut through bone, but this is to be expected! All in all they are good at their main function, but I particularly like them for the fact that they are really easy to clean. You open the scissors up really wide (wider than you can when you are gripping them, so that there is never any danger of them coming apart mid-cut) and the separate at the pivot point. You can then ensure that not nasty bacteria lurks in the join of the scissors and that they are immaculately clean.
