The bits aren't lasting very long. Should I be using water?** A: The key to long life of diamond bits is to reduce heat. There are three ways to do this: 1) Constantly use water, 2) Reduce the speed of the drill, and 3) GO SLOW and apply very light pressure. It will take time but let the drill bit do the work! They should last a VERY long time using this method. **Q: Can this drill through porcelain?** A: Absolutely! I drilled through very dense porcelain using both the 1/4 and 5/16's bits. I got about 12 holes with each bit, before they wore down. Make sure that someone is spraying the bit with water while you drill (to keep it dry) and start the cut at a 45 degree angle until it starts to dig in and then gradually straighten it out. GO SLOW! until the bit is firmly seated in the hole so that it doesn't jump out and scratch other sections of your tile. **Q: Will these work on a Black & Decker RTX rotary drill?** A: If the shank is 1/4 why you dont say if the drill's chuck is larger than 1/4 instead to say larger than 3/16?🤔🤔🤔 **Q: How well will these drill thru glass/stone (?quartz) tile?** A: I drilled bathroom tile and they worked very well. Combine this with the price and they are an excellent deal.
