I have updated my rating to 5 stars because the seller immediately sent me several replacement items, including a set of round edged bowl scrapers - now I am very happy with my purchase from this company. Great customer service! I am, however leaving this, my original review up: The basket, liner and mat seem to be worthwhile, but I have not used them yet and so may change my rating. I gave this 3 stars because the lame is made in such a way that the blade cannot be changed once it becomes dull and so is "disposable"...another piece of plastic for the landfill. Further the bowl scraper that came has a straight edge, not a rounded one as pictured and so is worthless as a bowl scraper.

I bought this kit a few months ago and I love it! My sourdough comes out perfect! The mat makes for easy clean up. I use it for making pie crust, biscuits and other types of bread. I love the way it sticks to the counter. So much better than other pasty mats I’ve used in the past. The basket makes my sourdough look great. I use a little rice flour to keep it from sticking and it pops right out. I highly recommend this kit.

The Banneton arrived in good conditions (apparently there was some concern). The basket is sturdy, but the liner is not as finely woven as my other basket liner, it not a heavy linen. The lame is kinda cheep, but I image it will be functional. The spatula is small but flexible and will be good for smaller spaces. The rolling mat is thin, but really holds to your counter. Overall, for the money, I would say it's a good deal.

I looked a bunch of bannetons on Amazon and this was among the least expensive and came with extra goodies. I was happily surprised when I opened it and it was just as good as my more expensive batard banneton. The silicone mat is very useful too. If you have a smooth surface it will adhere to the counter. I don't so it was a bit trickier with my cutting board. All-in-all, I can recommend this product.

I bought it as a gift for a friend. Was not impressed how it came in a Ziplock bag. Other than that, it does the work.

The basket, cloth liner/cover, and lame are good. I was somewhat surprised that the plastic bowl scraper is a tiny one. A bit too small for the job. The silicone mat is extremely thin; it flops around like cloth. Also the concentric circle measurements are in cm not inches. I used a fine-tip permanent pen and wrote the conversion on the mat.I suppose the set is ok considering the price for it.

The seller was incredibly responsive and contacted me prior to the package arriving to let me know that they've been experiencing some delivery issues and asked that I reach out immediately. It's a gift so I'm not sure how it works but the recipient loved it!

I used this to make sourdough bread. The quality of the material could be better. Difficult to clean. But all in all it sufficed for what was needed.
