Even came with the proprietary screw-drivers to open the device. Great product at a great price. Saved me so much money to repair the Switch instead of replace.

Decided to try replacing this part for a dying Switch that had seen a lot of use and man I should have done this ages ago. The replacement process was decently in-depth and trying to safely remove many of the ribbon-cables required a lot of finesse but once it was installed it worked perfectly. My only minor complaint is that the new fan is slightly louder than the standard switch's fan, but not by much. Other than that all parts fit perfectly into place and it seems to do well enough ventilating the system.

Works great with original Switch. Note, the fan doesn't have the spacers around the screw connections so it will be slightly loose based upon my own experience. But it works!

Yeah so Tears of the Kingdom broke my Switch. Not really. The fan was making a loud buzzing noise for several years. TotK was the final nail in that the fan finally gave up, and the Switch would shut itself off to protect itself. I chose this fan over others because it came with the required screwdrivers, and thermal paste. Well, it turns out that the screwdrivers weren't great, they wouldn't grab some of the screws and ended up stripping one. It would've probably stripped them all had I not switched over to my tech screwdriver kit, which contains the tri- head screw tip you need to dismantle Nintendo products. One hour and one helpful video later, my Switch was up and running like new again. Fan running, no buzzing noise. So tldr, the fan was perfect, the thermal paste was most handy, but the screwdrivers were sub par. Exclude then or include better quality tools and this'll be a 5 star product.

I needed to replace teh fan on my Nintendo switch becuase it was dead and causing the switch to overheat. I purchased this fan and swapped it out with the original. When I first turned it on it sounded like a jet engine taking off. Super not happy about it. Upon inspection I noticed that the metal casing was slightly bent in and rubbing on the fan. I bent it back out with a screwdriver and voila! It works quietly as advertised. I read a bunch of reviews complaining about the noise level but I think the case was just rubbing on the fan. Do not be discouraged from purchasing this product.

Product did not come with replacement tools. When I did replace the fan, it did not work. Dissatisfied

This little thing saved me 300$ wonderful kit even included thermal paste. Doesn't come with instructions but that's what YouTubes for right?

Works great. Installed this using iFixit's guide and used Duronaut thermal paste to replace the original stuff. Runs 5 degrees cooler now and is barely audible even with the TV muted, during the most intense use of the Switch with both its CPU and GPU overclocked. Wasn't going to bother replacing the fan, but the noise finally got to me. I'm glad I did it. The process isn't that hard if you go slow and are careful.

Der Lüfter meiner Switch hat zwar noch funktioniert, aber ist nicht mehr rund gelaufen und war teilweise sehr laut. Daher habe ich mich entschlossen, diesen auszutauschen. Man darf keine Angst haben, etwas kaputt zu machen. Der Austausch war aus meiner Sicht recht einfach und seit dem läuft die Switch wieder ohne Probleme... absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!

The screwdrivers are not the best, but worked through the process. There is no guide so watch a teardown video online. My switch from 2017 made loud noices and got superhot. Now it's so silent that I can not hear the fan rotating or any sound at all. And it doesnt get warm to the touch anymore :)

Great replacement fan, comes with everything you need. Using ifixit tutorials I was able to switch out my switch fan. Working solid since purchasing this item.
