Customized to BT200X
Was a bit skeptical at first. My float on my minibike tank brand new didn't float it had a leak in it somewhere you couldn't see but anyway ordered this one it was huge and thought I had to do plastic custom work but the float is made of some type of hard from. When filling it to the size I needed it smelled like a very bad natural gas/ egg smell if you have to customize please wear a mask hold away from you. I'm glad I ran into this float and it actually worked for me. I would recommend if your float isn't available.

Polaris makes a bad float, period
Polaris makes a bad float, period. Mine failed just after the warranty expired. For years I watched the speedo flash low fuel with a full tank. I use my ATV every day for cattle chores and just can't be down but after years of annoyance and a free afternoon, I tore into machine and removed the unit from the tank. Quick test, float sinks but gauge works manually. Let my fingers do the walking on Amazon and found a replacement float for just over 20 bucks from a tractor parts dealer, so must be good. Ordered, arrived three days later, installed, and now a full working non-annoying gauge. Installed perfectly on a 2008 Sportsman 500 X2 as an exact fit. Beats spending $500 on the complete unit from OEM.

Cost Saver
Installed it on my 2015 Can Am Maverick XDS turbo, from BRP you have to buy the whole fuel pump which will cost anywhere from 5-$600, this float was under $20 and fixed the fuel gauge always empty issue, inexpensive easy fix if you can do it yourself!!

Polaris Sportsman Fuel Gauge No Worky? Here’s the Fix
If your Polaris Sportsman has a fuel gauge that quit on you, this is what you need. It’s tedious to take you ATV apart to get the fuel pump out, but you save $500 + bucks.

Beats $500
This part works really well versus giving mr. Polaris $500 for a new gas tank. The floats from polaris are notorious for failing. I ordered an extra one of these, just in case. Just FYI, don't bother calling the vendor about anything, couldn't understand a word he mumbled........
