This was my first PBN, and it turned out much better than I thought for someone who can't draw a straight line (no artistic abilities). I was hooked. This is the most relaxing activity I've found in a while. Like other reviews, plenty of paint (although some are clumpy and need diluted), brushes not so good (buy better ones), and some spaces had no corresponding number. All of which were easily rectified and I'd just go with a color nearby if there was no number. This particular PBN came without the printed copy to double check color number for touch ups and colors are so slightly different in many of the red/oranges that touch-up became difficult. All in all however, it was an overall happy purchase (and I have 3 more still to paint!). Touch up will be required, I don't care how careful you are, some of those dimples just don't fill in with one or two coats of paint.

I was not expecting actual canvas, so you’ll want stretcher bars before you can start painting and they are not included in this kit. Otherwise the canvas has creases from being folded in the box. I find paint by numbers kits too harsh in terms of lines between colors. So I use the numbers as a general guide and don’t worry much about the lines. This way you can blend a bit and make the piece look more natural.

This is so fun. It is my first paint by number, I am really enjoying it. The directions aren't the clearest, but you don't really need them as I painted by number as a child. The picture is really beautiful and coming out quite nicely. I did buy an extra set of brushes as the small spaces are very numerous and the small brush got floppy easily. I needed precision.

This was the most entertainment ive ever gotten from a $10 item. I spent a year painstakingly painting this picture. I easily put in 80+ hours. I dont know how this is considered "intermediate" but I definitely got my money's worth. The paint was still good with the exception of the ones I used early on.

This is my first paint by number. I was impressed with the quality of the kit. It took me a little time to learn and get used to the process, but I soon was comfortable and confident. The included extra sheet with numbers is a great help. I look forward to working on it almost daily. It's looking good so far.

I had ordered this April 18th in hopes of having it be here before Mother's Day so I could gift it to my mom, but it never arrived until the 16th of May. I knew to expect later arrivals due to the pandemic, however their shipping dates changed every week. I never knew when this package was going to come. Originally, it said 2 weeks and it didn't update again, until almost a week before it arrived, in which it told me it would not be here until June 1st. Obviously, it beat the second deadline, but the whole experience was confusing and the gift came late. As for the product: It is a cute piece, but it is also very elaborate - my mother loves it, but it was kind of daunting for her as she hasn't painted in years. The color key is also tiny, so if you have difficulty seeing I recommend a magnifying glass or assistance while working on this. Our one gripe is that the paintbrushes are very cheaply made and anytime you try to wash the paint off of them - or sometimes even while you're painting - the bristles start falling out. This was an issue from the moment we removed the brushes from the packaging. This product does not come with a frame, those are sold separately, so keep that in mind. Overall, I think this was worth the wait, because it kills time and makes something beautiful at the end. However, it may be challenging for beginners, the elderly, or those with motor control issues, or difficulty seeing. Just a few things to keep in mind, when purchasing.

I would like to commend the people that did the work to produce this paint by number kit, everything was first rate. I was especially impressed with high quality canvas and the way the pattern was applied and everything was clear and legible.

This paint was really lovely to apply which resulted in a beautiful painting.
