I got this because the lock on my toddlers window broke and he was opening and throwing toys out the window. It took me about 5 times to get it in there. It wasn't super easy to install. I had trouble getting it wedged in without it collapsing. You really have to turn it hard to lock the mechanism on it. But it is very secure now that it is wedged in there and my son doesn't know why it doesn't open because I did it while he was asleep. So he isn't interested. Very sturdy product though once it is in place.

The window security bars are very easy to install, they blend in with the windows and are very secure, you will not open any window with one of these installed in it. Installation took about 2 mins, peace of mind forever. You will sleep a lot better after installing window security bars in your windows. We have them in all our windows and also lock guards on the doors at night while we are sleeping, the door lock guards (secure a lock) are easy to remove after you awake. In this day and age of drugs causing people to invade people homes this type of window security fits the bill for prevention. I would highly recommend it to help protect you and your family.

I wanted a security bar for our window and couldn't find anything in the stores that was the correct size. This was easy to install and seems strong and secure.

These window bars were easy to get on, but very flimsy....Not strong or sturdy enough to make me feel completely safe....

My son wanted something for a window with room ac unit..It is sturdy..so easy to use..no drilling..no locks..place bar in window..twist to tighten

The 2 pieces are held together by a thin piece of plastic and came apart when trying to extend to fit into windows. Once extended, the pieces were difficult to lock into place. Once getting the piece locked into place, with force the 'security bar' did not prevent the window from opening. The 'security bar' is cheaply made. We should of read the reviews prior to ordering. It was money wasted because the cost of shipping it back to seller was almost the cost for the product. We were very disgusted with product.

Great security bar for sliding windows. Super easy to set up and place. Rubber ends are nice for grip. No way these will scratch your windows or doors. Super happy with them.
