Easy installation
Works great and simple to install. Nice little extra security

Aggravating to install but it works.
Because if the angle and how close the large hole had to be drilled in the aluminum sliding door it was aggravating to install. The lock mechanism is a little floppy but it does it’s job.

Great security device for just over 1 month.
I feel so much more secure after my husband installed this on our sliding door. Nobody is going to break in through that door.UPDATE: After having for just a few months, it broke. The casting just completely broke apart. This did not take a lot of wear and tear or any abuse. We could not believe that it just started sticking. We could not get it to lock. Then my husband took it down. We then tried making it lock. It would if you tilted it one way but not the other. Then it just completely fell apart. Casting seems very inferior. We are past the 30-day warranty so we are out the purchase price, which wasn't much. I guess you do get what you pay for.

Great little product
It was very easy to install. Works fantastic. The hardest part was finding the drill sizes. Why don't the drill bit manufacturers make it easier to read sizes without having to have a magnifying glass.

Exact fit to my old one that broke
This an exact fit to replace my old one I busted accidentally. Measurements online are spot on and I didn't need to modify anything. I like that it's white also as it hides in the frame better that my last one. Works great! Thank you!

Not the ideal, but made it work
Not exactly simple to install, finding a spot that it works was challenging. Also it sticks when unlocking some times. The other issue is that the bolt sticks out a little even when unlocked, which is why it was a challenge to mount.

Quality is decreasing
I’ve used this same unit on 3 different doors in the last 25 years. The 1st one was extremely durable, you could feel it in the weight and is still in use today. The 2nd one was 10 years ago, about half the weight of the first and has finally given out. The 3rd one is about half the weight again and I am expecting to replace it within the year…I have both sold and used prime line products for the last 25 years. I am sad to say, the quality has declined drastically over the years.

Latch stuck shut after 5 uses. Got trapped in the bathroom. Good thing I still had my screwdriver.
