Tom Chambers Heavy Duty Flick 'N' Click Seed Feeder

Bought as gift and very pleased! It’s well built & easy to clean. The magnetic catch seems to have stumped the squirrels (so far). I’m now thinking of getting another as a gift to myself!

The solid metal parts and quality black paint job give this feeder positive marks. The magnet closure on the top is clever. However I took off one star because the birds don't seem to like landing on the straight metal perch-pegs when the temperature drops to 0. They avoid this feeder and land on the one next to it with cheap plastic pegs instead. Perhaps the cold metal bothers them? They might be afraid their feet will freeze to it, I dunno. I notice that my cheap plastic feeder from the local DIY shop with round plastic loops for perches is more popular with the birds in subzero temperatures. Otherwise this is a quality feeder.

Was fed up with feeders breaking, bought four of these now in two designs. Really happy with quality, strength and how they separate for cleaning.

These feeders look good and are sturdy. Not yet taken apart to clean but it looks easy. They do get quite damp inside, more so than the cheap plastic feeders they replaced. However, I'm happy with them, as are the birds that feed from them

initially happy enough with this feeder despite being scratched on the top when receivedless than a month of use and the tube is cracked and the feeding portals have fallen out - I think this may be squirrel damage although it is disappointing that it hasn’t lasted very long at allgood customer service though who sent me a replacement very quickly

A bit expensive, but I like the magnetic cap and the metal construction.
