I use the prepackaged sinus saline packets available at local pharmacy over the counter. Come in a box of 50-100 pre-measured packets, just add directed amount of PURIFIED water, not tap water, into a measuring cup, mix and use. Works great. Hope this helps. **Q: Why is there no lid?** A: Just my personal opinion: a lid would make it heavier, harder to hold while tipping over for the pour. Easier to manage just one part of an instrument rather than two.
